The clam is finally back on the body, all built back up and now ready in the booth for the doors to be blended. (FYI saffron yellow is a pig of a colour!)

As we know this job hasn’t been plain sailing from the off, so to add to injury, there was a little incident when the customer was rebuilding the clam back up which meant redoing a couple areas. & THEN to top it off i was removing the tape from the headlights and the lacquer decided to come with it! So both headlights were restored as well! 👀🫢

However Patience is a virtue, black headlight surrounds redone, doors blended and a rear bumper crack repaired !

Part 1 of 4 lotus makeover.

Customer tasked me with the challange to create a 1 off custom design on a face lift clam for his beloved lotus exige.

Part 1 was to repair & rebuild the new fibreglass clam, & add a black fine line around the headlight surrounds.
