The Road Hierarchy: Who has priority? 🚦🚘
Since 2022, the UK Highway Code has shifted its focus. It’s no longer just about “the rules”—it’s about a Hierarchy of Road Users.
The logic is simple: Those who can do the greatest harm (HGV, Bus, Car) have the greatest responsibility to look out for those who are most vulnerable (Pedestrians, Cyclists, Horse Riders). 🛡️
