Yesterday, we attended Heritage Matters Great Northern Classics Derby bringing together people from across the classic and historic vehicle industry.

Some of you may remember this 2005 Bentley Continental GT arriving with us, complete with 54,000 miles on the clock and a rather troublesome set of electrical gremlins.

We'd hoped to put it to use as a test vehicle, but with so many electrical issues to contend with, that plan hasn't quite worked out.

It's now taking a different route, with dismantling underway and its remaining components being assessed for their next chapter.

SOLD: 1993 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur III in Wild Berry
We barely had time to get to know this one before it found a new owner.

With just 57,000 miles, cream leather and one of our favourite Rolls-Royce colours, it clearly didn't need much of an introduction.

Some of you may remember this 1986 Bentley Eight arriving with us last November. The blue paint still had a bit of dignity about it, but the interior was another story entirely.

Nearly a year later, it's finally this Eight's turn on the dismantling ramp. The team is now getting to work, carefully assessing and removing the remaining components ready for their next chapter...

JUST ARRIVED: A 1990 Bentley Turbo R.

After years of transporting happy couples to their weddings, this Royal Blue Bentley has clocked up 147,000 miles and rather a lot of repair bills.

The question now is whether there's another journey left in it.

JUST ARRIVED: A 1993 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur III.

Wild Berry. Cream leather. Just 57,000 miles.

The colour is a firm favourite around Flying Spares, and this long-wheelbase Rolls-Royce makes a rather good case for it.

There are a few mechanical questions to answer before we know what comes next, but it's certainly made a good first impression.

It barely had time to get through the gate before it found a new owner.
White paint, tan leather, matching tan hood, and a little work needed at the rear. Clearly, someone saw the potential.
