If you are thinking of placing an order online or in person in the near future, this week would be a good time, as Michelle is away for two weeks from this Saturday 14th March. There may be some delay in getting parts out to you and answering calls and emails during this time. Normal service will be resumed by 1st April, sorry for any inconvenience.

WE ARE RECRUITING !!

We are looking for someone to join our small, friendly, dedicated team working to supply parts and services for Vincent motorcycles and their owners at VOC HQ in Desborough, Northants.
The position will be mainly workshop based to assist with service, repair and restoration of Vincents as well as other related tasks as required.

There are two main possibilities for the person we are looking for:

1. Technician: You are an experienced classic motorcycle mechanic, either professionally or as a hobby, preferably with experience of Vincents, and have the passion and the knowledge required for working with these bikes. Full or part-time, flexible working hours possible.

2. Apprentice: You are a less experienced person, but have a passion to work in the classic motorcycle industry and can demonstrate this. We are working with Heritage Skills Academy (Bicester/Brooklands) with regard to apprenticeships, and you will be required to attend their training sites 1 week in every 6 over a period of 3 years. This is a full-time position.

Its seventy years since the picture above of the Vincent factory was taken, and its over forty years since the Vincent HRD owners club formed the Vincent Spares Company to manufacture spares for the bikes that remained. and the survival rate of those bike never ceases to amaze us, even today ‘barn finds’ are being made and bikes are being rebuilt. To prove we dont just make the easy items, a few years ago we built a complete new Vincent Black Shadow from new parts, the complete machine was registered for the road and found its way to a museum in New Zeland. But thankfully thats not the fate of most of our original Vincents, they are still in constant use and they are one of the few machines of the post war classic era that are still capable of holding their own in modern trafic. and we are still please to say still creating a healthy demand for our spares.
