Opening Soon!🐾

I am excited to be opening a Dog Grooming Salon very soon!
We still have some work to be doing to get the salon ready to welcome your furry friends through our door but hopefully we can start to see some of you by the end of February!🗓️

I am a local dog groomer with four and a half years of experience, fully insured, Level 3 IPET Network qualified with Canine First Aid Certificates, and experience in breed standard grooming for many breeds and hand stripping on wire breeds and silk breeds.🐶

⚙️ Citroen C3 Wet Belt ⚙️

Wet belt replaced on this 1.2 puretech Peugeot engine. Customer came in with no oil pressure warning on the dash, we suspected the wet belt had broken down and blocked the oil pickup. This was confirmed once the sump had been removed and you can see how blocked the strainer was, full of fibres from the cambelt. The belt itself was heavily cracked, deteriorated and split in places, wouldn’t have done many more miles before completely failing and causing catastrophic engine failure.
The recommended wet belt replacement interval for these are 65k miles or 6 years, this Citroen C3 has only covered 55k miles and is a 2019/2020 model.

This engine is very popular and fitted in many Citroen Peugeot and Vauxhall.

🛞 Tyres 🛞

Importance of tyres, if you feel shaking or hear unusual noise when driving along, best not to ignore it, this one was a close call with the tyre almost ready to blow out. If kept driving on it, the results could have been drastic.

Wetbelt change on a Ford Ecosport 1.0 ecoboost this week.
Customer came to us with a low oil pressure warning on the car, bearing in mind it’s only covered 74k miles and a 2017 model.
As usual on sump removal, the oil pick up was found to be blocked with debris from the timing belt and the belt itself was in a pretty bad state being heavily cracked. I don’t think it would have lasted the recommended replacement interval of 100k or 10 years.
All cleaned up and genuine parts fitted, back on the road and running sweet.

🚐Ford Transit 2.0 Ecoblue Wetbelt🚐

2nd transit in this week for its wetbelt change.
Genuine Ford parts used including sump, oil pump belt, oil pump strainer and timing cover, Ford engine oil and filter. Once stripped out the engine is then all cleaned to remove bits of deteriorated timing belt.

Clutch replacement done today on this Mini.
The clutch plate was heavily worn giving a poor clutch pedal with a high biting point. New clutch kit fitted and back together, road test to confirm a perfectly working clutch again.
