Hard to see this... 😕

We are extremely saddened to share that Kyle Loftis, the founder of 1320video, passed away last night. We are in a state of shock.

Kyle’s passion for motorsports inspired millions of people around the world and we will never forget what he has done to grow our beloved sport. Kyle was a beam of light at every gathering… his enthusiasm, kindness, and creativeness was contagious.

Let us pray that Kyle is in a better place.

So it’s been a while on the socials but we are back.

We had this lovely VW MK4 golf 1.8t in for a custom rolling road tune.

So this was a very nice car to tune considering it’s a 1.8t being a pain at the best of times just due the age of this platform but still very capable.

But non the less we tuned the car and the car took really well to what ever we asked it to do, there was a few little issues that we came across one being bank one lambda sensor which we noticed straight away from the live data. But when we got that sorted back to making power.

So then are after that problem fix can came across a new issue of a lack of fuel due to the engine being the 150hp (aum) model they had nothing left to give so we suggested 550cc injectors to the customer so some back a forth with injectors and the correct Loom to piggy back from the original loom to the new injectors, we made some good healthy safe numbers.

So the car setup.

Vw 1.8t 20v aum
Ko3 hybrid
Fmic and hardpipes
Forge recirculating valve
Silicone intake to turbo with a ramair pod filter
2.5” Downpipe from turbo all the way back

And the car made a solid 257hp with a very nice and driver friendly power curve pulling all the way through to 6 grand with very health AFR readings through the whole power band. So the customer can really lay into the car with no issues and be reliable.

So props to the customer, really nice example of a MK4 golf they are getting in now this one being just shy of 24 years old it’s holding up very well to the uk conditions.

So we had this lovely BMW E92 330d in for a rolling road tune.

So it came to us stock and then pushed out its factory original hp of 231hp / 508nm of torque on the dyno, very healthy numbers.

So then we uploaded our spicy sauce onto the the vehicle and pushed out an impressive 314hp / 694 nm of torque, this is just our stage 2 dyno package pushing out a big jump in power over stock.

And well the car very clean and low mileage example and very nicely done with the front lip, side skirts and boot lip really adds to car’s presence and sets it off but at the same time not being over the top, hats off to the customer.

So we had this lovely F30 BMW 320d m sport in a couple days ago.

The customer was very happy with the previous 3 series we did for a relative so he came to us wanting his new vehicle mapped.

This one was a software fix and a stage 1 package. These respond really well to a stage 1, night and day difference over standard even though on paper it’s not a major increase in the figures.

So these are 2.0l inline 4 (B47) going from its stock 188hp-400nm of torque to 220hp-440nm. A noticeable jump in power and drivability and some economy there to being a diesel.

From myself to the owner very clean and tasteful cosmetic mods really sets the car off especially the silver wheels it really works with car and just looks the part.

It’s been a while..

So we had this lovely Skoda Octavia vrs on the dyno.

So the customer opted for a stage 2 rolling road tune to see what the car would do after some supporting mods that will be listed down below.

So these cars are slept on in my option being a 2.0l TFSI in a family car form so you can take your kids to school, do the shopping and give your local boy racer a run for there money on the weekend 😆.

It really is great all rounder yes it’s no golf r but it’s practical and fast what’s not to love.

Also props to the owner great colour choice (personal favourite in this shape).

And now on to the bit everyone is asking for the power figures !

Now if you don’t know these are a great platform to make power on being a 2.0l VW engine you don’t have to do much to make a big increase in power, so the owner done small mods such as.
Cone filtersports cat and and cat back exhaust fmic upgrade fuel pump

In the grand scheme of things not a lot of mods for a big power gain.

So if you haven’t seen the the graph it made drum roll … 279hp / 496nm of torque so definitely no slouch. From its original 197hp / 280nm of torque.

We had this lovely MK4 golf gti 3 door in today

Props to the owner for the very clean example you just don’t see them in this condition anymore due to there age in an oem look.

So he fitted a JW automotive 1752 hybrid turbo wanting a base map to get him on the road, taking it to the 220hp on a pd 150 arl engine is a nice healthy number and the customer was super impressed with the performance increase over the standard turbo.

So we had this lovely Mercedes for one of our stage 1 packages today.

So this a Mercedes ML 320 CDI Sport A 3.0l V6, a powerhouse that produces 224hp / 510nm out of the box, so no slouch even being a 2.2 tone SUV it’s a lot of weight to move around.

So we got our little mitts on it and do what we do best, adding some extra pony’s and being diesel in this case a big jump in torque 90nm to be exact bringing it to 260hp / 600nm of torque!

So overall customer was super pleased with the outcome with having more pulling power for his business and some fun on a B road to.

We’re do I start…

So the tuning world is not all about cars it comes in all shapes and sizes… like a digger for example😅

So we had this 16t Takeuchi excavator in for a software fix, as the owner had some running issues.

We got to the bottom of it in the end and got it fixed as we are always up for a challenge and the customer was pleased to have his digger all up and running as it should be once again.

Definitely different to say the least.

So we had this pocket rocket to start the week off 🚀

It’s a abarth 695 biposto 2016 plate, in for our stage 1 package.

A stage 1 on these little but very impressive 1.4T mulitijet engines really changes the cars character.

These little hot hatches come standard with 190hp / 250nm of torque. A stage one that we offer, it only adds 30hp but then adds a big jump in put you back in your seat torque of 90nm of torque which is very impressive from a small engine.

This was one of the cleanest examples of of abarth 695 we have seen it was in stunning condition 👀
