Yesterday’s loler inspection and repairs job completed.

Driver leaving happy that his decks are all working correctly and that he got to sit with his feet up in a comfortable driver room watching Netflix.

For todays we’re having a look at lifting blocks. We’ve come across this problem a few times where the box section that hold the slide cases on, crack and separate from the main lifting block. As you can imagine this is a big issue. After repair they are also capped to increase their strength to prevent future breakages. While we have the blocks out they get their internals overhauled plus some work to the pin and pivot bush to make everything work as it did when new.
