Due to the increase in problems with DPF’s (diesel particulate filters) and demand to have them cleaned thoroughly we have invested in new equipment to do just that.
Supplied by ‘forte’ who are the leading name in additives and products this cleans and flushes out the DPF better than any other with the powerful 4 stage cleaning process.
If your unsure what a DPF is. It’s a filter inside your exhaust system which is how diesel vehicles reduce there emissions. However this designed is flawed because the filter is designed to clean itself when the vehicle reaches certain conditions, a major one of these conditions is up and down the motorway regularly, which a lot of us don’t do.
This results in the DPF blocking up and causing all kinds of problems from a simple lack of power, engine management light being illuminated or totally not starting.
There are also several sensors attached to the DPF which can be made to become faulty but that’s a bit more complicated and not for a Facebook post.
