Apologies, just noticed on the Calendar that we have a date clash with a Carrera Digital and an HO Club Night on 28Jul26.

We had to move our HO dhorcingham oval meeting on 21Jul26 to 28Jul26 due to the availability of the Nightingale Hall at Derby Leisure & Events.

What I hadn’t noticed was that the Carrera Digital Watkins Glen was already on the 28Jul26.

Therefore we have swapped the dates so Watkins Glen is now on 21Jul26.

In less that 24-hours track build will begin of our 4-lane Tomy AFX HO Dijon-Prenois circuit.

With the HO grid now reduced to 24 full time racers, at present, we will be running both Tyco440X2 F1/IndyCar and Viper/Bulldog GC Finals.

Please let us know if you aren’t available to make the grid.

Looking forward to another great, cooler, evening of racing!

Our next crazy Carrera Digital project, a 401'3" replica of the old Interlagos track including a climb up to the start line and then back down at the other end.
We have the track now, we are just making the extra 10 power straights we need and Phil Rees is sorting the new black (well white actually) power box.
Once ready nine of us will do a trial run, and then organise a date for a race. It's going to be mad, but we like being mad. 😂

The final Carrera Digital Championship to be updated following or Fortaleza race evening last night is the Team Group Challenge.

Martin Thorpe and Steve White’s M&S team are still atop the pile however their lead has been slashed from 25.5 points to 18.5.

The slashing wasn’t done by Late Comers Racing however but by the new second placed team Segrob Ceinats consisting of José Borges and Andrew Staniec. Thanks to José’s three Group wins and Andrew’s single win in Brazil they catapulted up from fifth to second, with former second placed Late Comers Racing belonging to Chris Cooper and Victor de Oliveira now 1.5 points back.

After the Fortaleza Carrera Digital Evening we now have the top seven racers covered by less than 10 points in the Group Challenge, with Victor de Oliveira leap frogging erstwhile leader Steve White to take a one point lead thanks to his two Endurance Race wins.

Martin Thorpe’s three Group B wins from three starts moves him up from fifth to third, another point back.

The biggest mover however was José Borges, who took all three Group C wins. His 25 points moved him up from 18th to 9th.
