Ideal Motors Coachworks was established in 1948 and is one of the longest running bodyshops in Northamptonshire –with good reason! Originally coachbuilders, Ideal Motors hand made bodies and panels for car and commercial vehicles alike –even using those skills to fabricate panels for Spitfire p
lanes. As a family-owned and run business, those rare bodybuilding and panel beating skills have been passed on through generations to the young, energetic technicians working on our shop floor today. Moving from our town centre location in 1975, we are now located Daventry which gives us a central location to easily reach Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering and surrounding villages, and with good, fast access to the motorway network to serve nearby Milton Keynes.
