🚐✨ 2017 VW Transporter in the workshop

This one came in with a slipping clutch and gearbox issues. After removing the gearbox for inspection, we also spotted a split EGR pipe 👀.

✅ Clutch and flywheel replaced
✅ Gearbox striped and inspected
✅ EGR pipe replaced at the same time
✅ Van back on the road, ready for many more miles!

🚗 2014 Nissan Juke – Engine Management Light Diagnosis 🔧
This Juke came in with the dreaded management light on the dash. After smoke testing the intake system, we traced the fault to a faulty MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor.

👉 The MAF sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine. When it fails, it can cause poor fuel economy, rough running, or trigger the engine warning light.

✅ Replacing the sensor got the Juke back to running smoothly and efficiently.

This little Twingo came in for its service and MOT. During inspection, we found:
• ⚠️ Front suspension arm needed replacing due to excessive play in the ball joint and a worn front bush.
• 🛠️ Completed a full engine service and thorough check-over.

Now it’s back on the road, safe, reliable, and ready for many more miles ✅.

🔧 2008 Renault Trafic – Injector Repair 🚐
This Trafic with the M9R engine came in for the dreaded injector problem.

🔍 On inspection, we found two injectors were leaking, causing carbon build-up around the seats. We carefully removed the excess carbon, removed the injectors, and then cleaned and refitted them with new sealing washers.

Now it’s back on the road, running clean and smooth ✅.

👉 Leaking injectors are a common issue on these engines. If left untreated, the carbon build-up can make the injectors very difficult to remove – so it’s always best to catch it early.

🚌 VW Transporter Camper – Brake & Suspension Work 🔧
This lovely Transporter camper came in for an inspection and some much-needed TLC.

🔍 On checking over the vehicle, we found:
• Front brake discs & pads were below the legal minimum thickness.
• Rear brake pads were worn low.
• One of the rear heavy-duty springs had broken.

We fitted new brakes all round along with a pair of heavy-duty springs, making sure this camper is safe, reliable, and ready for more adventures ✅.

This little Corsa came in with a rattle from the engine when lifting off the throttle. On inspection, we found the wastegate on the turbo was worn.

🚗 Another Busy One in the Workshop! 🔧

We had a couple of vehicles in this week needing some extra attention:

🔹 Fiat Idea – In for MOT and a service, but it wasn’t feeling its best!
A worn bottom suspension arm and a few welding repairs were needed to get it roadworthy again. All sorted and back out keeping a local community first aider mobile – glad we could help! 👏

🔹 Vauxhall Zafira – MOT failure due to a snapped driver’s front spring. We supplied and fitted a new spring, followed by a full wheel alignment to finish the job off properly. ✅
