🚗 Thinking about a career change?

I’m currently looking for 2–3 people in Darlington and the surrounding area who are interested in training to become driving instructors with Steady Start Driver Training.

If you’ve ever thought about becoming a driving instructor but aren’t sure where to start, I can help guide you through the full process.

Training can include:

✅ Support through ADI Parts 1, 2 & 3
✅ 1-to-1 instructor training
✅ Flexible training around your current commitments
✅ Study resources and guidance
✅ Trainee licence support available
✅ Help getting started once you’re ready to teach

You don’t need previous teaching experience, just the right attitude, patience and a willingness to learn.

This is why good driving isn’t just about reacting to what’s directly in front of you, it’s about looking ahead, anticipating what might happen and adjusting your speed early.
The earlier you spot a developing situation, the less dramatic your reaction needs to be.

Most learner drivers know they need to check their mirrors, but are yours actually adjusted properly? 👀🚗
Set your driving position first, then make sure your mirrors give you the best possible view around the car.
And remember, mirrors don't remove blind spots, so observations still matter.

🚗 DRIVING TEST MYTH #1
Will crossing your hands on the steering wheel automatically fail your driving test?
❌ No.
What matters is whether you stay in proper control of the car and steer safely.
It only becomes a problem if your steering causes you to lose control or creates a safety issue.
