💔 NOT THE UPDATE WE WANTED TO BE POSTING… 😔

Absolutely gutted to hear that just hours after collecting his lovely V2 STI from us following its recent Link ECU upgrade and mapping, the owner has unfortunately been involved in an accident.

After all the work that’s gone into getting this 30+ year-old classic running better than ever, an Amazon delivery driver reportedly pulled out in front of him, resulting in a collision. 😞

Certainly not the ending we expected after seeing the old girl leave the workshop looking and running so well.

Thankfully, nobody was injured, which is by far the most important thing! 🙏🏻

The good news is that despite the damage, it looks like the old girl will live to see another day. 💪🏻💙

Not every day you look at the workshop cameras and see machinery like this parked outside! 🤤

🔧🔥 ANOTHER CLASSIC SUBARU BROUGHT UP TO DATE AT MB DEVELOPMENTS! 🔥🔧

Our lovely V2 STI is now finished following its latest upgrades! 💙

On the MB Developments side, we’ve taken care of supplying and installing the Link G4X ECU, along with the mechanical work and modifications needed to bring this 30+ year-old classic a little more up to date.

⚙️ Link G4X ECU supplied & installed
🔧 Newage MAP sensor conversion
🔥 Intake air temperature sensor installed with a custom laser-welded boss
🔩 Additional mechanical work and checks
💻 Final ECU setup and custom mapping at Midlands Dyno Centre

🏁 FINAL RESULTS – 274 BHP & 259 LB-FT! 💪🏻

Not bad for an old girl still running plenty of original components!

More importantly, we’ve transformed how the car runs, with the previously lean fuelling and boost now safely under control.

There’s still plenty of potential for future upgrades, but for now it’s a massive improvement and a great foundation to build on. 👌

From supplying the parts and carrying out the mechanical work at MB Developments to final tuning on the rollers at Midlands Dyno Centre — all taken care of under one roof! 💙

⚠️😂 SHOULD WE TAKE THIS AS A COMPLIMENT OR A NUISANCE? 😂⚠️

It appears MB Developments / Midlands Dyno Centre have gained another branch… unfortunately nobody told us! 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

We’ve been made aware of a fake page called “Midland Dyno JDM parts” which is using our MDC photos along with pictures of MB Developments parts to advertise and potentially scam people.

We’re not sure whether to be flattered that they think our pictures make them look trustworthy… or slightly annoyed that they’re trying to use our name and reputation to take people’s money! 😂

Just to be absolutely clear:

⚠️ THIS PAGE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MB DEVELOPMENTS OR MIDLANDS DYNO CENTRE. ⚠️

Please DO NOT send them any money or personal/payment details.

🤯 SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS ONE TO ME… 😂

Genuinely interested if anyone understands how the Facebook algorithm works because this completely baffles me! 🤷🏻‍♂️

We can put basically the same post on our MB Developments page and our Midlands Dyno Centre page…

One page has 10x more followers, yet somehow the same post can get around 95% LESS engagement, likes and interaction. 😂

You’d naturally think the page with the much bigger following would get the bigger reach… apparently not!

Is it down to the algorithm?
How active the followers are?
The age of the page?
Or does Facebook just spin a wheel and decide who gets to see what that day? 😂🎯

Anyone who actually understands social media — educate me because I haven’t got a clue! 🤣👇🏻

🔥 TOMMY G’S BLOBEYE – RESULTS ARE IN! 🔥

Unfortunately, we didn’t quite get the completely clean finish we wanted today. Tommy’s DCCD centre diff isn’t too happy, which made getting consistent runs on the dyno a bit of a challenge.

Results 613hp & 584ftlb torque

That said… the results are still seriously impressive! 👀🔥

Running on Shell V-Power + 25% m**h, the Blobeye has put down some very strong numbers and there’s definitely more left in it.

Once the centre diff issue is sorted and we can get some clean, consistent runs, we’re confident we should see 620+ bhp from the setup. 💪

Not quite the final chapter yet… but it’s certainly getting interesting! 😈

Get that DCCD sorted and we’ll have it back on the rollers to see what it can really do! 📈

🏁🔥 ROLLING ROAD DAY – TOMORROW! 🔥🏁

MB Developments / Midlands Dyno Centre x West Midlands Scoobys

📅 Saturday 19th September
⏰ Runs start from 10:00am

Not long to go now! 👀 We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone down tomorrow for the West Midlands Scoobys Rolling Road Day.

For everyone who is running their car, if you could please aim to be with us for around 9:30am. We’ll have a quick briefing before we start and then the fun can commence! 🏁

👀 SPECTATORS ARE WELCOME

Anyone wanting to come down and watch is more than welcome. We don’t have a huge amount of parking available, but we’ve made as much room as possible and hopefully we can accommodate everyone.

🔧 BEFORE YOUR DYNO RUN

All cars will be given a check before going onto the rollers to make sure they’re safe to run.

Please make sure all your fluid levels are correctly topped up before arriving. Once the cars are warm we won’t be able to accurately check certain levels, so please bear this in mind.

🏘️ IMPORTANT – PLEASE RESPECT OUR NEIGHBOURS

Anyone who has visited us before will know our unit is accessed via a road opposite a residential street.

We have a great relationship with our neighbours and we’d very much like to keep it that way, so please be very mindful of your speed and noise levels when arriving and leaving.

No unnecessary revving, excessive noise or speeding on the surrounding roads please. Anyone who can’t respect this will unfortunately be asked to leave.

Other than that, we’re all set for what should be a cracking day! 🔥
