As you all know with our last post, this year has been difficult for us due to some personal reasons that some of you will know of.

But since our last major update we have been through 64 Bongos in the workshop for major welding and bodywork. And god knows how many for light mechanical repairs.

We are now able to start thinking about bookings for this coming year as we have managed to get through the workload we have had due to these personal reasons.

The boys in the workshop have been great to soldier on as much as possible without my presence alot at times.

Here's just a couple of vans that have been through lately.

We have been doing a few tin top to hightop conversions, also we have recently just done a Tin Top to AFT conversion that I will post shortly.

Obviously a massive amount of sills and archs and all the normal crossmemebers and such.

I would like to say a massive thank you to our customers for bearing with us this last year and half as we have been dealing some very hard and unfortunate personal circumstances as some of you may know.

As you can see we have not posted in a very long time due to this as we have been trying to work through the huge amount of work load we have had in the workshop and are still doing so, but we decided to stop breaking vans for the that time period as we could not keep up with the requests nor with need to post items via courie and the attention that needs.

In the background we have been working on a separate yard to house the vehicle dismantling side of the business and members of staff to focus on that.

We will soon update you with an address to which that site could be visited between certain hours for parts, but for the time being we will be starting to dismantle vehicles for parts to be sent out via the post.

We have around fifteen vans in stock at the moment, V6, 2ltr and Diesel. So we aim to get these all broken down and shelved up so parts can be sent out much faster than previously.

Please get in touch for parts required and we will do our best to get back on track to supply you these parts.

Again, Thank you for your continued support and patience during this difficult time for our family as we try to navigate this during the coming months.

Happy New Year to everyone, we hope you all had a great festive period!

We will be having a massive clear out from now in to February of everything bongo related so we can refresh the stock with the current vans we have in for breaking.

After many vans broken down over the last few years we have end up with a huge stock if interior parts and various mechanical parts like hubs, axles and various other things i'de like to clear.

We've had a hell alot of a vans in for front end repairs -

- Front Panels
- Inner Front Tubs
- Crossmemebers
- Inners Sills

All seam sealed like factory, stonegaurded and undersealed where needed.

We also have a few accident damaged vans in at the moment to have replacement panels, chassis legs straightened and some panels repaired.

One vehicle in for rear Chassis leg and rear crossmemeber damage. Whole rear end repaired back to original factory panels.

My self and the boys have been out to rescue four vans already this week with breakdowns at the side of the road inbetween our normal workload!

Make sure to get your vans in to us for winter checks before the weather gets much worse.

- Various coolant issues with corroded pipes

- Running Issues with moisture in distributors

All very common bongo problems that can be solved before your stranded!

IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE IS VIGILANT!!!!

Today we had a call from Paul Woods to ask for help after finding his van like this early this morning!

Attempted theft, luckily the thief's were not as good at getting the van running as they were wrecking the ignition.

We had to get out to the van to get the ignition swapped over and remove the immobiliser that now would not disengage to get the van running and bring it back to the workshop to repair all the damage and also the door/lock.

Be careful where you leave your vehicles and take more safety precautions at the moment as this could have been yet another one added to the increasing list of vans going missing in the last couple of weeks.

Paul should be back on the road in a few days once we get a bit of time to get this mess organised in between our normal work load.

Hey Folks,

Its been a while but we have a yard full of Bongos for breaking, we had to take a break for a while as keeping up with orders aswell as the amount of vans we have had going through the workshop was unbelievable.

But we are back to breaking again, I think we will be organising it abit differently this time. We will be sending items Two days a week, Monday & Thursdays to try and organise things abit better in the workshop and keep on top of what needs done for those days. (This will be advised when ordering which day I will go)
As wait times got out of hand previously and had items coming and going everyday which was chaos.
As the demand for parts was way more than we anticipated! But we are more than great full for the customers that have used us.

We currently have -

- 5x 2.5 Td vans (both 2wd and 4wd)

- 1x 2.5 V6 Van

- 1x 2.0 Van

- We have various pop tops, and a couple mushroom top vans.

- we have various style of kitchens also that I will photo at something and advertise.

We will now be supplying customers with various panels that we make in house,

There is currently not a replacement panel available for the Passenger Rear Inner Sill that fits well! also not one that has the bubbled part of the sill available ... Until now!

We will be making this in two ways,

- Bubble Section On its Own £25
- Full Rear Section with it included £45

Aswell as these panels we will be providing

- Inner Front Sills £16
- Outer Sills £26

We can also off a full sill replacement Kit for £150 which will include

- 2x Inner Fronts
- 1x Inner Rear with bubble
- 4x Outer sills

All of the products will be in 1m lengths

We have been so busy lately, it's been difficult to keep on top of social media, we been through around 45 vehicles for major repair work. All getting Archs, sills, front crossmembers and various other repairs not including another load of vans for mechanical work and full kitchen conversions, floors and other items.
