Some are now progressing from Level 2 to Level 3, while others have successfully completed their Level 3 qualification - an incredible achievement 👏

Transport Training Services (TTS) is proud to be Northern Ireland’s leading provider of automotive apprenticeships and technical training.

With over 50 years of experience and more than 300 apprentices in training, we deliver results that are 20% higher than the Northern Ireland average across all Level 3 training.

We’re now looking for an experienced automotive professional to join our winning team as a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Trainer/Assessor.

This is a rewarding role where you’ll help develop the next generation of technicians — while also assessing and supporting the skills of qualified technicians already working in industry.

What You’ll Do

✔ Deliver engaging training to apprentices and adult learners
✔ Assess and develop skills of qualified technicians in the workplace
✔ Support learners in both training centre and workplace settings
✔ Work with employers to improve apprenticeship delivery
✔ Help maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism

What We’re Looking For

✔ Experienced Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair professional
✔ Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience (within last 7 years)
✔ Passion for developing others and sharing your expertise
✔ Teaching experience NOT essential — full training provided

Essential Requirements
NVQ/VCQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above or equivalent)
Basic IT skills (Teams, Zoom, Microsoft Office)
Full UK driving licence
