🔧 MEET THE TEAM – MATTY! 🏍️

This week’s Meet the Team introduces the very highly thought of Matty!

Matty and John actually go back many years, with Matty serving his apprenticeship under John at Ford many moons ago! After going their separate ways professionally, Matty went on to build up a huge amount of experience within the motor trade, working with Ford, Volkswagen, the RAC and Land Rover along the way.

With that background, Matty has built up an incredible depth of knowledge across a wide range of vehicles and manufacturers. His experience is something we lean on regularly in the workshop, particularly when it comes to those jobs that require a bit of extra thinking and know-how.

After John approached him a couple of times about coming to work at JR Autos, Matty eventually picked up the phone and decided it was time to come and join the team — and we’re very glad he did!

Matty works incredibly hard day in, day out. He’s always willing to get stuck in, help the rest of the team and make sure every job is done properly.

Away from the workshop, Matty is a very passionate biker and loves nothing more than getting out for a run on either his Africa Twin or Fireblade. 🏍️💨

He might come across as one of the quieter members of the team, but don’t let that fool you! Matty is well known around the workshop for his perfectly timed one-liners, cheeky grin and the occasional offer of an “elbow supper” to anyone brave enough to wind him up! 😂

Matty is a hugely valued member of the JR Autos team. His experience, knowledge, work ethic and commitment are appreciated by all of us, and he plays a massive part in what we do every day.

And, most of the time… he’s an absolute joy to have around! 😂👏

Next up in our Meet the Team series is our Workshop Foreman, Jamie! 👋

Jamie has been part of the JR Auto Services team for a total of 7 years over two spells, and he’s become a hugely valued member of our team.

Many of you will already know Jamie — whether you’ve met him at the garage or spoken to him on the phone while discussing what’s going on with your car! 📞🚗

As our Workshop Foreman, Jamie plays an important role in keeping the workshop running smoothly. He works extremely hard, takes great pride in his job and, most importantly, takes pride in making sure our customers are looked after properly.

His experience, work ethic and commitment to our customers make him a great asset to the JR Autos team, and we really appreciate everything he does for us.

Away from the workshop, Jamie is very much a family man and loves spending his spare time with his family. ❤️

Following a **very successful trial of our new working hours**, we’re pleased to announce that we have decided to **move forward with the new hours permanently.**

The trial has been a great success, and most importantly, our staff have told us that they feel the new working pattern has made a **really positive difference** to their working lives.
