Just arrived for conversion - customer's VW Crafter - dwarfing the other vehicles on the front!

We are kitting out the interior to make a camper with a raised fixed double bed at rear with garage under. Shower room, kitchen area, and storage cupboards. Heating and hotwater, full electrics with a solar panel on roof etc etc

Will post updates as we go along 🙃

Did you know?

Our current RX8 wheelchair accessible conversion on the Renault Trafic started life on a Nissan Primastar NX8 back in 2006!

We moved to building on Renault in 2011 and Vauxhall in 2016. (Unfortunately Vauxhall stopped building this version of the Vivaro back in 2018/19)

The design has been tweeked and upgraded through the years, eg now comes with an underfloor ramp rather than channel ramps but it has stood the test of time and remains one of our best selling, versatile vehicles.

The versatility of the rear seats means the Renault RX8 is capable of carrying 2 wheelchairs in the LWB version (although we have had customers with claiming they can fit 2 wheelchairs in a SWB!).

The newest model based on the 2.0 150 chain driven engine gives great mpg - customers reporting they have achieved 38mpg on about town driving up to 48mpg on longer runs

We are currently busy building sold units but have had delivery of new LWB and SWB for you to order

Then and now!!

2011 v 2026 Renault Trafic RX8 hackneys - we're still building them!

These days they come with underfloor ramp, front & rear aircon with rear heater, front fog lights, alloy wheels and a whole host of electronics you didn't know you needed!
Improvements made over the years to the base vehicle and conversion but still one of our most popular and reliable hackneys

Recent Crew Cab conversion on a LWB Renault Trafic E-Tech Van

Base vehicle was a standard van with driver and dual front passenger seats which we converted to a 6 seat crew cab.

The existing bulkhead behind driver and front passenger seats was removed and a new bulkhead fabricated and fitted behind the C-pillars.
A ply floor and floorcovering were fitted behind the front seats up to the bulkhead
A headlining was fabricated and trimmed along with the side panels
And a genuine Renault Trafic bench seat fitted in row 2
Finally the rear of the van behind the bulkhead was ply lined

USED LWB Ford Tourneo Custom 2.0 130 Voyager FX8 Wheelchair Accessible Hackney 9 seats
20 plate registered March 2020
Underfloor ramp, wheelchair restraints, bulkhead, screen, intercom, cab locking, meter,
152000 on new engine which was fitted by Ford at 128k - 280k miles overall, . Current engine has had a complete overhaul including new wet belt, new oil pump, replacement injector, new coil springs, filters and oil.
Drives well, smooth gear changes. No lights on dash
Body work generally good, a few age related light scratches/small dents.
Rear tip seats and bench seat in good condition
All Voyager parts have been checked over repaired/replaced where necessary.
M1 certificate included. Will have 12 months MOT.
