Now what do we have here? Audi A5 that's had a load of work and now doesn't boost correctly .....

We're here today to see what's actually been done to the car and let me let you into a secret ..... It's shockingly s**t 😳

A garage we've 'black balled' due to rubbish work as worked on this vehicle, before part cannoning the vehicle they had it mapped. This video is after our diagnostic and we're taking the ECU out to see what f**kery has been done .... We were shocked l, but that's for the next video ...

There’s always a mission on… and today was no different 👀

We picked up an extra passenger…
A set of split face wheels.

Well…
3 and ¾ wheels to be exact 🤦‍♂️

One had clearly lost a fight with a roundabout… and lost badly.

Enter…
👑 The Ginger Tyre King AKA Brad’s Tyres

He took one look…
Laughed. Proper belly laugh.

And to be fair… we don’t blame him 😂

But here’s the thing…
We don’t deal in “that’ll do” fixes.

So we called in a man of legend status…

UNFIXABLE? – PART 2 - Caddy Madness🚐⚡

Right…
**Are you ready for Part 2?**

Because even for us…
👉 *this one was a rollercoaster.*

Good job we had **Car Jesus on the case**, biscuits stocked up 🍪 and caffeine levels dangerously high ☕
Time to get stuck into what was meant to be…

👉 *“just sort my wipers…”*

**THE REALITY?**

This is hands down one of the best examples of:
👉 **too many chefs in the kitchen.**

A *simple fault*…
turned into **FOUR separate issues.**

But as always…
👉 *we got it done.*

# # # 🔍 WHAT WE FOUND…

Vehicle comes back in on a booked slot so we can properly dig in.

First step: confirm the fault.
Out comes the **Launch X431** ✔️
👉 Signal fault to the wiper motor confirmed.

*“It’s only one wire…”*
How hard can it be? 😏

# # # ⚠️ STRIP DOWN TIME…

We get access to the wiper motor…

…and just stop.

Look at each other…

👉 *“Ah… here we go…”*

The wiring loom had turned into what can only be described as:
**an electrical tape chrysalis 🐛**

We were *hoping* it would turn into a butterfly…

It didn’t.

# # # 🔧 DIGGING DEEPER…

Definitely **not factory wiring.**
So…
👉 *crack it open.*

Cut wires. Rejoins.
Previous “repairs” 🙃

Multimeter out — because at this point the diagnostic tool is about as useful as a
👉 **chocolate fireguard.**

# # # 📞 CUSTOMER CHAT…

Customer says:
👉 *“Only replaced the motor… and one wire…”*

So now we’re thinking…
**Is it even the right motor?**

# # # ⚡ TESTING…

Signal wire check…

👉 **12V… constant.**

Right… that’s not right.

Now we’ve got more questions than answers.

# # # 🔁 BACK TO BASICS

Wiring diagrams out.
Back to the fuse box.

Remember from Part 1?
👉 **Water damage.**

Corrosion ✔️
Green/blue crust ✔️
Terminal damage ✔️

Diagnosis:
👉 **Fuse box = dead.**

Battery?
👉 Sitting at **19%**… brilliant 🙃

Fresh start.
Fully charged battery 🔋
New fuse box installed.

Confidence levels high 😎

Back at the wiper motor…

👉 No battery voltage
👉 No command from BCM

Now it’s just getting weird.

We’re sat in the van…

👉 Another BCM staring at us.

Customer:
👉 *“Yeah… that’s a spare one I was going to fit…”*

Modules aren’t LEGO.

Just because it *fits*
doesn’t mean it *works.*

**UNFIXABLE?**

The BMW gives us a little *ping*…

🚨 Tyre pressure warning light

Then… out of nowhere…

🎶 *“Brad’s the king of the gingers… a Rossendale VIP…”* 🎶

Well… we took that as a sign 😅

Next thing you know…

👉 Bacon butty in hand
👉 On the road
👉 Heading straight to Brad’s

Because if you’re turning a bad situation into a win…
you may as well do it properly 🤣

We pull up at **Brad's Tyres**

Brad gets straight to it.

---

👉 Tyres checked
👉 Fault found
👉 One tyre needed replacing

Good job we landed there when we did…

But here’s the bit most people don’t know 👇

Running a tyre low on air and just “topping it up” over and over?

❌ Not harmless
❌ Not a temporary fix
❌ Definitely not smart

---

What actually happens:

👉 The tyre overheats
👉 Internal structure breaks down
👉 Leaves that tell-tale **black dust residue**

Once that happens… it’s game over for that tyre.

Even if it *looks* fine from the outside 👀

And yes…

This applies to:
👉 Brand new tyres
👉 Older tyres
👉 Your daily driver

Run flats?

Different story… but also more expensive 💸

UNFIXABLE? 🐾🚐

This Volkswagen Caddy came in from a dog walker… and let’s just say… it was a little ruff 🐶🤣

All we were told:
👉 “Windscreen wipers not working… can you have a look?”

Now normally… you’d think:
Fuse? Relay? Quick fix? Job done.

Erm… no.

Initial diagnostics told a very different story.

Scanner plugged in ✔️
Electrical tests started ✔️
Eyebrows raised… ✔️

This wasn’t a quick in-and-out.
This one needed time, digging, and a full proper investigation.

We rebooked it in for a full day because honestly…
👉 this Caddy deserves its own episode.

And what we found?

Let’s just say…
this isn’t even close to a “simple fix.”

We were tempted to drop both parts right now…
but where’s the fun in that? 👀
