There is rare then there is Unicom rare!

The E36 M3 AC Schnitzer CLS is 1 of 14 cars ever made worldwide and this Avus blue example originally belonged to Chris Rossiter, the owner of Rossiters (the UK AC Schnitzer importer.

It features so many unique parts including carbon bonnet, carbon wheel arches, carbon shell Recaro pole positions and so much more.

We carried out an inspection 2 service and replaced a bunch of aged exterior trims.

A sub zero cool E36 which got at lot of admiration from all the team at BMR performance!

A few weeks ago we had an E36 Alpina B3 3.0 in for appraisal and last week we had another, a calypso red example this time, for vanos seals.

The Alpina styling of really suits the E36 shape in our opinion and the simplicity of their iron block M50 based engines make for very robust and reliable modern classics.

Did you know that you do not have to take your BMW, Alpina or MINI to a main dealer for servicing even if it is still under warranty?

Even in this day and age, many people are still under the impression that they have to take their car to a main dealer or it will invalidate the warranty which is not the case.

As long as the car is serviced by a VAT registered garage, carries out the service within the manufacturers guidelines using genuine parts then a manufacturer warranty will remain intact.

Take this G80 M3 for example, we carried out the 1200 mile running in service using genuine BMW parts and updating the BMW history database, carried out by BMW trained technicians passionate about what they do, all with savings over cost of a main dealer.

A Daytona violet E34 M5 3.8 from our friends Dylan Miles receiving a bunch of maintenance work, air conditioning upgrade, new tyres, hunter wheel alignment etc etc.

We love these last of the line hand built M5s with the final iteration of the 24V big six!

It’s becoming hard to find good E9x M3s now so today it was nice to inspect this low mileage E90 saloon while conducting a full check and report to appraise its overall condition.

Having worked on these since they were brand new carrying out new car PDIs, then carrying out approved used car check on them when they were are few years old and now carrying out restoration work on some, with some of the oldest examples nearly 20 years old now!
