Same name. Same standard. Sharper identity. 🔵🟡

If you’ve followed GT Clean for a while, you’ll know this brand has never been about doing the least, it’s about doing it right, every single time. So when it came to refreshing the logo, we didn’t just want a new badge. We wanted something that actually said that out loud.

When we started out, the logo just needed to say “we exist” - get a name out there, get the first jobs in. But we’re not just starting out anymore. GT Clean has grown into an established name in the detailing scene, and it felt right for the identity to actually reflect that. Less “new business finding its feet,” more “brand that’s been putting in the work and has the results to show for it.”

So this isn’t a rebrand. It’s an evolution, same GT Clean, same blue, same standard we’ve always held ourselves to. What’s changed is how clearly that comes across at a glance.

A few things we thought hard about:
→ GT CLEAN is now the hero - bigger, bolder, impossible to miss
→ Clean, Bolder white type - confidence over clutter
→ Room to breathe
→ Real depth and dimension - it should look like signage, not a sticker

And the gold frame isn’t just decoration. It’s the foundation the whole brand sits on - integrity, excellence, attention to detail, consistency. Every job, every time.

You’ll now see two versions of it: the Professional Mobile Detailing mark across our socials, and the Detailing Studio mark for the workshop where the correction and ceramic coating work happens. Same brand, built for where you actually see it.

And because a few of you have asked yes, new merch is here. Starting with the cap 🧢 (swipe to the end).

This is the identity now. Permanent, not temporary. Swipe through to see exactly what changed and why →

This is probably the last workshop update before the final reveal… 👀

The original concrete floor was far from perfect, with a noticeable dip running through it, so before we could move on to the next stage, it had to be professionally levelled.

A massive thank you to Drb flooring specialists Ltd for coming in and laying a latex screed, creating a smooth, level base that’s ready for what’s next. Again, it’s one of those jobs that most people will never notice, but it’s what makes a premium finish possible.

Swipe through the three videos to see the process from uneven concrete to a perfectly level floor.

From here on, I’m keeping the rest under wraps. 🤫 I want the finished studio to be something you experience for the first time when the doors officially open.

One of the biggest milestones in the studio build… finally complete💡🙌

Getting the lighting finished wasn’t as straightforward as we’d hoped, but we wanted to do it properly, not just quickly. Every new cable has been run through conduit, existing wiring has been tidied away, and everything has been organised so the workshop stays clean, safe and easy to maintain.

We also split the lighting across a four-gang switch, meaning each area has its own control, from the inspection lights to the hex lights and filming space. It might seem like a small detail, but it’s these little things that make the studio work better day to day.

The vision is slowly becoming reality, and I can’t wait to show you what’s next.

One thing I’ve realised during this renovation is that every decision has to balance looks with practicality. The office isn’t just somewhere to wait while your car is being worked on, I want it to feel comfortable, welcoming and somewhere clients can genuinely relax. At the same time, it still has to work as a functional space for meetings, content creation and day-to-day business.

The workshop is finally starting to come together too. You can see the electrician fitting the conduit, which keeps all of the wiring protected, organised and looking professional. It’s one of those details most people won’t notice, but it makes a huge difference to both safety and the overall finish.

The electrics have definitely been the longest and most challenging part of the entire build. Our original plan had to change because the landlord’s unit houses the main electrical supply for this part of the farm, so everything in our workshop needed to integrate correctly with his system. It meant taking a step back, redesigning parts of the installation and making sure it was done properly rather than rushing it. It’s taken longer than expected, but we’re getting closer every week, and I can’t wait to show you the finished GT Clean Detailing Studio.

Turns out having a mate who’s good on the tools actually comes in handy 😂🔨

We knocked up the new mezzanine storage area in just over 2 hours. This is where all the GT Clean marketing materials, stock and the random bits and bobs will finally have a proper home instead of cluttering up the workshop.

One more step closer to opening the studio. 💙

Are BMW M Competition wheels the hardest wheels to clean? 🤔

The key isn’t the brush you use, it’s the preparation. The pre-wash is where most of the work is done, removing as much dirt and grit as possible before any contact is made with the wheel. Less dirt touching the surface means less chance of inflicting scratches.

I’ve also started using microfibre cloths for the wheel faces. They mould into all the tight contours, and more importantly, I can actually see when they’re holding dirt and swap them out immediately. It’s a small change that’s made a big difference in how safely I clean intricate wheels.

This is where the vision starts becoming reality.

This video was all about clearing, cleaning and me falling through the roof 🤣🤣 Getting the studio one step closer to opening. It’s been great having people stop by to share ideas, lend a hand and help shape the final vision.

Even my 4 year old godson wanted to get involved. 💙 Every little bit of progress gets us closer, and I can’t wait to welcome you all through the doors.
