Apparently a lot of you enjoyed seeing my face yesterday... so I thought I’d introduce myself properly 😅

I’m Sam, owner of GT Clean. I’m the guy behind the camera, behind the pressure washer, behind the late night editing sessions, and occasionally behind a pair of Meta glasses talking to himself in a car park.

For the last few years I’ve been helping people across Crawley, Redhill, Surrey and Sussex keep their cars looking their best, from daily drivers to supercars, private jets and everything in between.

Some people don’t want a new car. They just want the one they already love to feel new again. This client wanted to bring his car back to life, so we gave it a Stage 1 polish and a full interior deep clean to restore that fresh, cared-for feeling all over again.

This is a mobility car, funded by the government. My client loved the car so much that after his deal, he decided to buy it and keep it.

Once I heard the story behind it, I couldn’t stop there. We cleaned the engine bay, tackled the little details, and went the extra mile because that’s what matters to me. Every car has a story, and sometimes the GT Touch is about more than just cleaning a vehicle, it’s about giving someone that feeling back.

Lost files, shot this over a year ago. I never planned to become a detailer.

At the time, my dream car was always the Civic Type R, but I couldn’t afford one yet, so I bought a Type S instead. I became obsessed with trying to keep it looking perfect, cleaner than everyone else’s, showroom condition at all times. That obsession slowly turned into learning paintwork, interiors, polishing, protection… and before I knew it, detailing became my life.

Year later, I finally bought the Type R. A reminder that sometimes the thing you start out chasing ends up leading you somewhere completely different. And honestly, I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Today, the Type R means more to me than just a car. It symbolises growth, discipline, hard work and what can happen when you fully commit yourself to something.

I barely even drive it, but every time I look at it, it reminds me that if you stay consistent and put your mind to something long enough, things that once felt impossible eventually become reality.

I’ve been really unwell recently, and it forced me to pause, something we rarely do. And in that pause, this sound made me realise how far GT Clean has come.

From the hard work, long days and sleepless nights… to the clients who return, refer, and genuinely champion this business — none of this would exist without you.
