Another brilliant night of racing at Midlands Raceway this Wednesday with a really nice chilled vibe around the place all evening. The new layout definitely caught a few people out and proved tricky to get dialled in, but that’s all part of the challenge and everyone seemed to enjoy getting to grips with something fresh. Great to see another packed evening with a mix of regulars and newer faces all helping each other trackside.

The new layout rewarded consistency more than outright speed and we saw a few drivers quietly putting together strong nights. Richard Morse in particular is starting to look more and more consistent every week and it’s showing in both qualifying and finals pace.

Paul Barratt took the B Final win with a very tidy and controlled drive, showing strong consistency throughout the race after qualifying 3rd in the heat. Luke Croghan followed home in 2nd with Wizza White rounding out the podium in 3rd.

In the A Final, the maestro Jamie Beasley was once again showing us all how it’s done, taking the win ahead of Jonathan Willey in 2nd, with Toonz T completing the podium in 3rd. Kirk Beasley showed serious pace throughout the night despite problems in the final.

The C Final saw Lee Killworth take the win ahead of Charlie Morse in 2nd and Joel Ajen in 3rd after another close battle-packed race.

🏁 Midlands Raceway – Wednesday Summer League 2 🏁
Another packed night of racing last Wednesday with some really close battles right through the field 👊
Qualifying was incredibly tight at the top with Jonathan Willey taking the overall TQ, closely followed by Kirk Beasley and Toonz T.
The finals delivered plenty of action with some great drives across all three mains 👌 There was a great vibe about the place all evening with plenty of laughs, close racing and good support trackside.

Kirk put together a really strong A Final drive to take the win, with Jonathan and Lee completing the podium after some close racing throughout the field.
Paul Barratt also secured one of his best qualifying positions in a long while lining up 4th overall… unfortunately the final completely fell apart 😅

Andras continues to impress and is quickly becoming one of the biggest improvers at the club. Wizza rounded out the podium and once again had the trucks looking fast and entertaining 👀

Another good drive from Charlie secured the C Final win, with The Joker and Dan Smith battling it out behind.
Great to see another busy club night with a mix of regulars and newer racers all getting stuck in 👍

🏁 Midlands Raceway – Wednesday Race Night 🏁

Another strong night of racing with a great mix of regulars and new faces keeping things competitive across all finals 👊

Plenty of close racing through the heats set things up nicely for the finals, with some tight battles right through the field. We also saw a truck mixing it up in the A Final 👀 — they’re definitely gathering interest now… can we get a dedicated truck heat together??

Jamie set the pace at the front with a solid drive to take the win, while Richard and Jonathan kept things close battling it out behind.

Luke took the win in the B with a consistent run, with Logan continuing his strong form and Lee rounding out the top three.
