Ah yes. The Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 - and yes, this was sitting right here at Race Retro.

A 911 that turned up to 24 Hours of Le Mans, took on the prototypes… and casually finished 4th overall.

About 300 horsepower, barely 900kg, huge arches, that ducktail, and of course the Martini stripes, which, let’s be honest, make everything look faster standing still.

And the best part? It’s not just for show. This one still goes racing, exactly as it should.

Some cars are important.
This one’s properly special. 🏁

The moment the motorsport season kicked into life, packed halls, engines firing, and the community back together where it belongs.

VIP Parking Car of the Show 👑🏁

This Lancia Stratos HF Group 4 in iconic Alitalia livery stopped us in our tracks, Ferrari Dino V6, full rally trim, and that sound as it drove away? Unreal.

Huge thanks to its owner for letting us admire it up close.

Liam Doran's Big Twin Mini Truck.

It’s fair to say none of us had seen anything quite like that on a rally stage before. Twin engines, absolute madness on the track, and a sound that carried all the way to our indoor Hall of Fame.

One very cool bit of kit.

Our 2026 Car of the Show 🏁

1985 Lancia LC2 Group C – Chassis 0007. The final works LC2 built by Lancia Martini Racing.

Pole positions at Monza and Silverstone. Fastest lap at Brands Hatch. Ferrari twin-turbo V8 power at its peak, 1986 specification.

Driven by the likes of Baldi, Wollek and Nannini, and more recently by five-time Le Mans winner Emanuele Pirro at Goodwood.

A true Group C icon.
