They display:
🟢 a green certificate if they’re a fully qualified driving instructor
🩷 a pink certificate if they’re a trainee and are going through the qualification process

Before setting off on any journey, it's crucial that you check your vehicle's wipers are working properly. Wipers are vital in ensuring you can see the road and other road users clearly while driving.

Here's what you should check:

🔍 Wiper blades- Look for any tears, cracks or signs of wear. Damaged blades can smear water across your windscreen rather than clearing it, making it harder to see.

🔍 Washer fluid- Make sure your screenwash reservoir is topped up. In wet and muddy conditions, you'll need it to clear spray and dirt from other vehicles.

🔍 Wiper functionality- Test your wipers before you set off. Check all speed settings work properly and that they clear your windscreen effectively.
