Sorry no recent updates on projects .. but that’s about to change ..
lots has been going on behind the scenes.. too much to be honest..
public apology time …
we got in a bit of a mess trying to keep everyone happy with several cars but doing a bit on each accomplishments nothing ..
So .. next couple of weeks are dedicated to finishing Bexley Herald ..
Taken far too long .. we had the car in for a recommission , welding and paint .. struck a deal on cost .. but decided to do a proper nice job for Owners Mum really ..was her husband’s car and wanted her to get the car back good as new .. We basically stripped the car rite down ( not body off ) and started work ..finding the car to be in a lot worse state after pulling filler and castrol GTX cans as repairs out of everywhere..
We kept to the Estimate then I fell behind on work due to health reasons which hurt us in many ways as it’s only Me and my partner doing the restoration work .. we farm nothing out so it does take time unfortunately..
Long story short we’ve honoured the estimate cost but at a cost to ourselves..
Now we’re back up to speed Bexley will be the first car finished in list of customer cars in Coventry and wales.
Can’t wait to see the owners face when it’s delivered back soon .

Jim Chalmers GT6
With smaller jobs going on too as they pay the bills ( restoration work always ends up costing us time )

*Jim Chalmers MK3 GT6
Full paint and assemble ..tuned 2.5 webers and uprated od box .
*Dave Thomas MK1 2000
Full body repair , weld paint , uprated suspension, tuned 2.5 and od box .
*Ian Wilds GT6 , painted running , driving and back to Ian to finish trim ect .
*Dave Knowles 1600 Rally Vitesse , full body repair , paint , new chassis ,engine rebuild and uprated od box with all rally car requirements put in place. *David Wythe Vitesse Coupe , rectify badly welded shell and bonnet , Paint and finish assembly .
* Jim Thomason Dolomite Sprint . Colour change from green to orange , fit engine and build car up with all painted suspension, original interior.
*Todd Bermudez Mk1 2000 , recommission , uprated suspension, new 2.5 engine and od box , all ready to complete the Club triumph Ten countries run next year ..
*Daves 1600 vitesse chassis change running driving and ready to be shipped to USA when done .
So .. public apologies done and all upto date ..
We still have two cars waiting for customer decisions, Silas Spitfire MK3 , wanting 2.5 pi motor fitted and converted to LHD ,
Also David’s 1600 vitesse saloon . We did all the panel work on the shell 2 years ago and stored it for free since then .. 🤷🏼♂️
