About the Role
We are offering a rare opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Paint Technician to join our well‑established, family‑run bodyshop in Corby. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship and enjoys working in a supportive, close‑knit team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare vehicles for paint following body repair work
Accurately match and mix paint to achieve an exact finish
Apply primers, base coats, and finishing coats in line with manufacturer specifications
Ensure consistently high standards of paint finish and attention to detail
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe paint mixing area
Look after spraying equipment and tools
Deliver excellent workmanship with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
Skills and Experience Required
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Paint Refinishing or ATA Accreditation (Preferred)
Proven experience as an automotive paint technician
Strong knowledge of paint systems and colour matching
High attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
