This Honda Civic 🚗 came in with a few minor ailments, the main one being that the engine management and DPF warnings were on the dash and the vehicle was in limp mode ⚠️
Oil dilution and particulate accumulation faults…… dipstick showed that the level was well over a litre overfilled due to failed regeneration cycles and diesel entering the oil. Live data showed over 430mBar of exhaust back pressure 🤯 with the DPF badly blocked (normal range would be around 15mBar or below).
Excess oil level extracted, DPF cleaner administered, DPF regenerated, pressure reduced to 9mBar 👍🏻

Drop link and track rod end replaced 🔧

Even quality parts can have a bad day, but when they do their applied warranty sets them apart from your generic cheap online parts.
Here we have a lower suspension arm from a Land Rover Discovery, fitted 13 months ago, the ball joint now has excessive movement….. this particular parts manufacturer offers a 4-year warranty!
