Ifor Williams Horsebox servicing ✅🐴

We recently had these two Ifor Williams horseboxes in for some much-needed maintenance 🐎

The green horsebox had a full grease, brake, tire and lighting check, plus a few pop rivets fitted to secure the centre mat, a new door gas strut and number plate holder as well as some wiring repairs to the rear lights.

The blue horsebox had a new jockey wheel, front and rear door repairs, broken trailer socket wiring repaired and a new door seal, alongside a full grease, brake, tire and lighting check. 💡

Both horseboxes sorted and ready for their next journey

Defender Service, MOT, handbrake, shocks and pads ✅

This Defender came in for an MOT and service, with plenty of work carried out to keep it in top condition. We fitted uprated EBC brake pads, replaced a seatbelt to sort an MOT failure, fitted two new rear shocks and upgraded the original drum handbrake to the X-Brake disc and pad conversion.

Another Defender maintained, repaired, upgraded and with a years MOT 🚙🛠️

Nissan Qashqai – Timing Belt Replacement ✅

We recently had this customer in for a cam-belt replacement. The old belt was removed, the timing checked using the correct specific tools and a new belt fitted, ensuring everything was correctly aligned and tensioned. 🔧

Regular timing belt maintenance is essential to help prevent belt failure and serious engine damage. Another vehicle back on the road. 🚗💪

Freelander 2 wheel bearing ✅

This Freelander came in with the ABS warning light on.
After carrying out some checks using our diagnostic scanner, we found the reluctor ring on the wheel bearing was damaged, meaning the ABS sensor couldn’t correctly pick up the wheel speed signal.

We replaced the wheel bearing with reluctor ring, cleared the fault and checked the ABS system — all sorted with no dash lights on.

Another fault found and repaired 🔧

V8 Land Rover Discovery ✅

This V8 Disco came to us as a recovery / non start. The previous owner had messed around under the bonnet and replaced a multitude of different things to try and get it running before giving up and coming to us for help. 👨🏻‍🔧

We started simple, checking the timing, making sure it had fuel and spark.
We found a mistake that’s easy to make if you’re not familiar with the Rover V8, the distributor 180 degrees out.

Once refitted correctly, she fired up first turn of the key.

Sometimes product knowledge and experience is all it takes, not firing the parts cannon. 😅✔️

Corsa timing chain ✅⚙️

This Vauxhall Corsa came in for a timing chain replacement, once stripped down we found lots of debris and broken-up material from the timing system. The chain was also very close to breaking, so it was definitely caught just in time before potentially causing serious engine damage. Along with the timing chain, we replaced the water pump and a track rod end, carried out an MOT, and thoroughly checked the vehicle over.

Everything was reassembled and tested to make sure the engine was running correctly and the vehicle ready for the road. Another job where catching the problem early has potentially saved the customer from a much bigger and more expensive engine repair! 👨🏻‍🔧🔧

Bmw repairs ✅

This 325D came in for a number of repairs, including a replacement rear brake calliper, both rear springs and both front top mount bearings. We also carried out an oil and filter service and a full vehicle health check including fault code read to make sure there were no other issues needing attention. 🛞

All repairs and servicing were completed, followed by a road test to ensure everything was working as it should. Another BMW back on the road and ready to go. 👨🏻‍🔧

Range Rover TDV6 Mot prep work ✅

Another big job completed for a happy customer! 💪

This Range Rover came to us not roadworthy, so we collected it and brought it back to the workshop for a full health check.

After carrying out a thorough inspection, we discussed everything with the customer, agreed on the necessary repairs, and got to work.

Work carried out:
• 2 new tires
• Auxiliary belt
• Track rod end
• CV boot
• Full air-to-coil suspension conversion with bypass module
• 2 rear suspension arms replaced
• Galvanised fuel tank cradle
• Four-wheel alignment
• New windscreen fitted (due to a crack)

Once all the work was completed, the vehicle went through its MOT and passed successfully ✅

We then returned the fully repaired and roadworthy Range Rover back to its owner, ready for many more miles ahead.
