⛽🚨 STOP PUTTING NORMAL FORECOURT PETROL IN YOUR PUSH-ALONG MOWER.

Petrol has changed. And your garden machinery hasn't changed with it.

Since 2021, standard 95-octane petrol in the UK has been E10, containing up to 10% ethanol.

And here's where things get interesting…

🧪 Ethanol is hygroscopic — meaning it attracts and absorbs moisture from the air.

💧 Leave ordinary petrol sitting in a mower for long periods and the fuel can degrade, absorb moisture and potentially separate, creating problems within the fuel system.
