This is why we highly recommend new injectors and seals on ALL GPF cars and anything else that’s done more than 40k. This particular car picked up 50bhp.

New feature: driver knock warning on Simos18.

We're now rolling this out as part of our Simos18 custom software. It's particularly relevant for highly tuned cars running octane booster or water/m**hanol injection.

Here's how it works:

If timing correction reaches a set threshold, we flash the engine management light.
If correction climbs to a level that shouldn't be occurring, the light flashes faster.
If it hits a critical amount, the ECU pulls boost — and the driver will feel it immediately.

The purpose is to flag abnormal combustion before it becomes engine damage — bad fuel, a failing injector, incorrect m**h flow, a blocked nozzle, anything that throws the combustion process out.
Another layer of protection on top of the calibration.

It's also in the testing phase for Porsche 991 turbo and 718 turbo models
