☀️ Hot Weather Alert from Slaters Colwyn Bay! ☀️

With the UK finally turning up the heat, make sure your car is ready for the sunshine!
John the salesman is currently out the front entrance working on his tan (we told him to put some factor 30 on but he’s going for the full lobster look 😂), so we thought we’d share some proper advice while he’s busy!

Here’s what you should check on your car before the hot weather hits:

• Coolant & Radiator – Top it up and check for leaks. Overheating is no joke in this sun!

• Tyre Pressure – Heat makes tyres expand, so check them when cold and stick to the recommended PSI.

• Oil Level – Your engine works harder in the heat – don’t let it run low.

• Air Conditioning – Make sure it’s blowing ice cold. If it’s not, come see us!

• Battery – Extreme temperatures (yes, even British “extreme”) can shorten battery life.
• Brake Fluid & Wipers – Safety first, especially if you’re heading off on a sunny getaway.
