!! NS Motors is still open to assist you with any vehicle needs during the Wales Firebreak Lockdown !!

As you can see from the information below taken from the Welsh Government website, garages are allowed to remain open during the lockdown as key workers require their vehicle to travel, particularly as public transport is high risk currently, and the general public may need their vehicles to go shopping for essentials for themselves or vulnerable family/friends/neighbours.

We are taking the following measures to keep you and our staff safe:
👨🏼‍🔧//👱🏻‍♂️ 2m social distancing adhered to

🧼 Good hygiene before and after working on your vehicle

🧤 Gloves worn when handling commonly touched areas of your vehicle

👴🏻 If you are vulnerable, we can make special arrangements to collect and drop off your vehicle

🤒 If you are self isolating due yourself or a member of your household showing symptoms, please inform us of this before allowing us to work on your vehicle - we can make arrangements to delay any work you have booked in until you are out of isolation and your vehicle is in use again

📧 Digital copies of invoices can be emailed if required

😷 Please wear masks when visiting the garage, if you cannot wear a mask due to personal reasons please ensure you are strict with your hygiene and distancing

⚠️ Government advice on MOT’s ⚠️

Any MOT due on or after March 30th will be extended by 6 months - great news to assist with social distancing

However it is still your responsibility to keep your vehicle in a roadworthy condition or you can be fined up to £2,500, be banned from driving and get 3 penalty points if you drive an unsafe vehicle

The current advice is “you should still take your vehicle to be repaired at the nearest open garage. The government is allowing them to remain open.”

If you have any concerns about your vehicle - please ring us on 07899967825 for us to assist you

Your car, van or motorcycle’s MOT expiry date will be extended by 6 months if it’s due on or after 30 March 2020 - but you must keep your vehicle safe to drive.
