SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT…

You see very few of these on the road and we see even fewer in the workshop!

NORMANS TOP TIPS 🛞

This is the second vehicle that has come into the workshop this week with the same issue and unfortunately it’s been many more over the years.

Used car dealers will often opt for a cheap refurb or spray when advertising a vehicle. However after 9-12 months it begins to peel and deteriorate.

It’s always worth asking the dealer where they get their alloys done and if they powder coat OR spray.

Powder coating:
Hard wearing against chips 🪨
Long lasting finish ⏰
No paint drips 💧

Spraying:
Not as durable ❌
Uneven finish ❌
Chips easily ❌

The beauty of diamond cutting is you don’t have to buy another set of alloys.

Here’s what we do:

Clean them up 🧼
Acid dip them 💧
Cut them 💎
Powder coat 🎨
Bake them ⏰
Fit back on tyres 🛞

It normally take around 2 days to complete and you can leave the car with us 👌🏼

2 different sizes and 2 different style black costings.

We can refurb up to 22 inch alloys with our equipment so even your large Range Rover/BMW wheels can be refurbished, cut or coloured 👌🏼

We also have different types of powder coating for black finishing. Either the Matt finish (shown on the 22 inch alloy) or a gloss finish.

Both go through a 3 stage process to ensure they are hard wearing and give a brilliant finish.

We use a 3 layer process for our powder coating that gives a long lasting finish, higher durability than spraying and a stunning look to the car.
