It was a complete surprise to see the demise of Hislops Haulage. With margins being squeezed partially due to the price of fuel ⛽️, sad to see such a high profile business close.

As we start another week, just thought 💭 I should review a busy and successful week 🚚.
Hard work , perseverance and commitment does pay off dividends.
Keith and Stevie reaped the rewards in gaining their C+E 🚚 qualification 👏👏👏.
Congratulations , well done and good luck for the future 🚚.
Forklift &LGVTraining take a pride with one to one 🚚 training. Focus on the learner!
As you can see from the’ relief’ Keith in particular was a happy chappie 👍😉.

Back at it at Farne Salmon & Trout Ltd this week for Novice learners Jordan, Andrew and Calum on the Counterbalance Truck.
What an effort in the training room and on the truck itself.
100% effort from all 3 guys , a real asset to your company as engineers.

Great week back up at Glenrath Farms this week aiding Novice learners Joe and Roshan on the Counterbalance Truck.
Fantastic effort in the training room and out on the machine 👏 Awkward loads galore but handled with aplomb. 👊
A company fully committed to training and safety.

With Gavin taking a well deserved holiday, I was back in the’ frontline’ at Alba Trees 🌲 Haddington.
My learner for the day Scott and Ivan , very experienced LGV drivers and workplace categories.
Safety Refresher for the T category lorry mounted forklift and conversion for Loading Shovel. Both made light work of the theory and practical 💯 %
Amazing loyalty with Scott- 25 years and Ivan -12 1/2 years 👏👏👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.
