Massive congratulations to Harry who passed his test yesterday with just 3 minor driving faults. Well done mate! You thoroughly deserved that full licence! Right from the start, every drive has been so good, so safe. Every lesson an absolute pleasure. You would think he has been driving at that standard for years! Must also mention Harry Shakespeare, whom I have known for many years!
Right from the start, he has been excellent! Carefully listened to instruction and prompts right from day one! He has been very receptive to comments & feedback, and has also shown to be incredibly calm, even when "under threat" from other "dodgy" & "dangerous" motorists on the Colchester roads!
Harry is totally dedicated and committed to our motto of "safe driving for life" and it won't be long before he rebuilds the engine of the car just bought and gets that full licence to drive that car, without me sitting next to him! Well done mate!

About time I mentioned my "new" pupil Henry Hume-Wright. Had our first lesson on the St Michael's estate on the 4th of June. Quick intro to the car, controls, etc, then it was his turn. Did very well indeed! Did so well in the 1st ten minutes, I thought, let's try the main roads! Wow! He followed instruction so well, I decided he should have a go at the "magic" roundabout! Despite the heavy traffic and with just a few prompts, we did it! It has been like that ever since! We've only had a few lessons, but it won't be long before we try and book that test date! Well done Henry! Really looking forward to our next lesson! :-)

Huge congratulations to Ellie Pickford for passing her test today in Colchester with only 3 minors!! Excellent news! We only had a few lessons, but it was quite clear that all that private practice was going to pay off! Well done Ellie. How's your sister doing?
Brooke passed her test with just a few minors too and that was nearly 6 years ago! My, how time flies! Give me a "toot" when you see me out and about! Take care.

Must congratulate my new pupil Harry Shakespeare! Just had his 4th lesson, "from scratch" and you would think he has been driving for ages! Did so well following instruction we even tackled the "magic roundabout" and that was during his first hour behind the wheel! Well done Harry! Looking forward to next Monday's lesson. 😊

Yes, "Polly" the much loved Peugeot has gone, retired from the life of driving instruction, but what a car! So, so reliable over the last 13 years, even after 190,000 miles! "She" is now with a friend's brother in law, but only until he get's his much "newer" car. I am now using my lovely VW Up, which hasn't got a name yet and was getting rather bored with only 10k mileage on the clock and sitting on our driveway for the last 14 months! Now in regular use and enjoying the thrill of avoiding all those
naughty and illegal drivers in the Colchester area! They know who they are! 😄

MASSIVE congratulations to Re-Ann for passing her driving test today on her FIRST ATTEMPT and with just a few minors. All that hard work and determination has finally paid off and well done for not losing your cool on your reverse into the bay at the Test Centre, with everyone watching! Brilliant stuff! I am so pleased you did it today! You have been such a safe driver, right from the very start, so getting that pass today is so thoroughly deserved ! It has been a real pleasure teaching you and I am looking forward to seeing you out on the road in your own car very soon. Take care!👏👏

The great big smile says it all! Huge Congrats to Michael Wood for passing his test this morning with just a handful of minor faults! Well done that man for keeping control of the test day nerves and yes, a good idea for anyone passing, to get those "P" plates on for a while. Looking forward to seeing you out on the road Michael and well done again. It has been an absolute pleasure to help you get there mate and I hope Catherine doesn't mind having to share the driving more frequently with you now! 😄😆
