We often get asked about wet belts and what are they. A wet belt is a cambelt that runs on the inside of the engine meaning it runs in oil unlike a traditional cambelt, after some time the belt can come contaminated and start to brake and fall apart causing catastrophic damage such as low oil pressure.🛢️🔧👨‍🔧

This Peugeot came to us as preventative maintenance but it definitely needed changing with all our wet belts we removed the sump to clean the oil pick up to stop any future issues ✅🔧

This x5 came into us with a rattle when idling we quickly diagnosed this to be a timing chain rattle upon stripping the engine we found the top chain to be extremely slack after fitting a genuine bmw chain the customer was back on hes way with no chain rattle ⛓️👨‍🔧🔧

This Vauxhall Astra came into use with low oil pressure this is very common issue on the cdti engine where the rubber seal goes hard in between the oil pump and oil pick up we replaced it with a genuine seal while we was there we fitted 4 brand new glow plugs 🛢️🔧🛠️
