"The Cadillac"

Last week we had this Volkswagon Caddy van in fitted with a 2.0 TFSI engine from a golf GTI. The van has been a project for the last year for Daryl McNairn at McNairn Motor services and what a job he has done with it. Every single nut and bolt has had thought and care put into it to create something as special as this.

Friday was spent tuning this vehicle for all the modifications that have been done it, full specs can be found below :

Last week we had this little Abarth in with us for some custom tuning work. Customer had previously had the vehicle stage 1 and had since fitted a few parts.

De-cat exhaust, k04 turbo and an induction kit were fitted and mapped in to suit the car.

Customers very happy with the results and will be back for any future upgrades!

💢 Maserati Quattroporte 4.2 V8 💢

This lovely Maserati Quattroporte underwent a stage 1 remap today. Power gains were relatively low on this vehicle with it being a naturally aspartated. Throttle response and lowdown pickup is significantly improved.

Stock - 400hp - 339 ft/lb torque

Stage 1 - 430hp - 377 ft/lb torque

💢 Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost 💢

Another one done today ✔. This fiesta was tuned with us today to stage 1, giving the vehicle a little bit more power and torque without causing issues on the temperamental 1.0 EcoBoost engine.

Stock - 140bhp - 210nm torque

Stage 1 - 161bhp - 250nm torque

Vehicle now feels much more responsive with a smoother rev range and a bit more power.

💢 Range Rover Sport 3.0D 💢

Another one done today 💪 This range rover got a stage 1 tune to improve power at lower RPM and an overall torque increase. All cats were kept in place but still a respectable gain was achieved

Stock - 174bhp / 238 lb/ft torque

Tuned - 230bhp / 376 lb/ torque

💢 Golf Mk5 GT TDI 140 💢

This MK5 Golf underwent a stage 1 tune this week. EGR valve and DPF were both kept in place but respectable power gains were still achieved.

Vehicle is now driving much better with smooth power delivery all throughout the rev range

Stock - 140bhp / 236 lb/ft torque

Stage 2 - 190bhp / 300 lb/ft torque

💢 Golf Mk5 GT TDI 140 💢

Recently had this Mk5 Golf in for a tune to suit its modifications. Customer had recently fitted a fill de-cat exhaust along with a hybrid turbo system.

The vehicle was tuned along with various exhaust sensors turned off to prevent the EML light from coming on.

Stock - 140bhp / 236 lb/ft torque

Stage 2 - 230bhp / 342 lb/ft torque.

💢 VW Golf GTI Stage 1 💢

This golf was was in with us recently and tuned to stage 1 along with a hardcut limiter. Customer was delighted with the results and power we achieved 💪

Stock - 197 HP / 207 ft/lb torque

Stage 1 - 260bhp / 262 ft/lb torque

A massive improvement of 63hp and an all round improvement on power delivery.

This car will be back with us soon for a stage 2+ tune once the HPFP is fitted along with a larger intercooler to keep intake temps down.

A customers astra van vxr conversion which we recently tuned from 236bhp to 308bhp along with our de-cat software calibration.

Van now drives much better and power delivery is smooth across the whole rev range.
