Fannin's established in 1952, as a small convenience store and garage. Over the years, Albert and Martha Fannin bought more property and the business grew, continuing to serve the needs of the local community. When Albert passed away, the garage was taken over by his son William, and the business is now managed by William and his wife Sharon, with the help of their three daughters, Sarah, Rachel a
nd Ruth. For many years, Fannin's "shop" was the place to go for your ice cream treat or a selection of 'Pick 'N' Mix', but the shop closed its doors on Saturday 10th September 2022 after 70 years in business. The fuel station remains where it always has been, but now operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. The garage continues to grow with a new renovation having only taken place at the beginning of 2022. The Motor Vehicle Repair Shop specialises in the servicing and MOTs of cars, jeeps, agricultural and light commercial vehicles. William and his team also provide number plate printing, two and four wheel alignments, air conditioning, MOT vehicle washes and much more. With a parts store located within the garage, there is a huge range of tyres, oils, car care products and other accessories available.
