Triumph Stag Manual 1974
The Triumph Stag was definitely a car of its time. It was the pinnacle of Triumph’s model range in the 1970’s and was a direct competitor for the Mercedes SL in the UK. They were a fabulous combination of a Daily Driver and a “Little Something for the Weekend”. If you wanted to cover up during the winter months you could put the hard top on and enjoy all the benefits of saloon car motoring, and then in the Summer you could remove the roof and enjoy the wind in your hair as you cruised along to the music of one of the most tuneful engines ever produced by a British Car Manufacturer.
You could still do all of that to this day in the stunning Magenta Triumph Stag Mk2 we offer for sale here. If you wanted to buy a “new” Stag today it would look like this one. It genuinely looks like its just been driven out of the Main Dealer’s Showroom, on top and underneath.
The car has been the subject of a major rebuild and the sum total of all the bills invoices and receipts in the car’s history file come to £52315 mostly by the country’s leading Stag restorers. Yes, you’ve read that correct, Fifty two thousand three hundred and fifteen pounds!!! There is also a library of photos to show the work that’s been done.
The paintwork is a sight to behold. The shine so good, its been tricky to photograph successfully. It truly is a superb quality paint job. The interior is in excellent condition, with the seats showing non of the usual stresses that many car from this era can, because they are like new. The chrome work is excellent. The woodwork has the most amazing, polished veneer, and of course the hood has been replaced so no cuts tears or other signs of aging that can appear over time.
This really is one stunning Triumph Stag. It really will be very difficult to find another in such outstanding condition.
Its that time of year when everyone treats someone. So why not treat yourself, at only £28995 this Stag will look amazing on your drive, and it will surely get the neighbours curtains twitching with it looking do bright in Magenta.
If you’re looking for simply the best of the best for your collection, I doubt you will find one better than this anywhere.

2014 Jaguar XK 5.0
Finished in Italian Racing Red with an Ivory and Black interior and finished with Piano Black Trim, this one owner car has covered 13000 miles from new and has full Jaguar/Land Rover Service History with 5 listings noted on the Dealer Service History.
The car is almost like new. Its stunning. The 5.0 Litre XKs drive superbly. Fast, long legged Tourers and this car with the Spec and the Colour, and with the ideal provenance is the perfect collector’s car.
This is one of the very last XKs produced. If you are a Jaguar collector and you don’t have an XK in your collection, this has to be the one for you. They don’t come any better and at only £29995 must be considered the ideal buy.

Jaguar Mk2 3.4 Auto 1967.

Well here we have another “Villain” Style Motor Car. The Mark 2 was always the getaway car of choice for the Bank Robber of the 1960’s. They were seen in many films of that era and were the iconic getaway car. Also used by the boys in Blue, the Mk2 is an outstanding drivers car.

This one, finished in Gunmetal Metallic with a Red leather interior is a terrific example of the model and looks stunning with the Chrome Wire wheels. It was fully restored some time ago, and looks like it went back on the road in 2005.

The Service History file with the car dates back to 1976, when the mileage was showing as 59500 miles. So I would imagine that the current mileage is correct according to the history file at around 79000 miles. It would appear also from the history file that the car has only covered around 11000 miles since it went back on the road, so its just nicely run in.

The bills invoices and receipts within the history file add up to over £30,000 so this is a car that’s had significant investment. More recently the car has been fitted with Vicarage Power Steering and Rear Suspension and this transforms the car. In addition it comes with a Heritage Certificate confirming its place in motoring history.

This is a great car, other people have spent the money, and lots of it, so this car is now ready to be enjoyed.

At £34995 it’s got be a sensible buy. Its not much more than the money that’s been spent on it!

A motoring icon.

1992 Morgan Plus4 2.0 Litre 4 Seater

Is there any sports car more typically British than a Morgan. The style is unique, and the drive is something that can only be a Morgan. Wherever you go, wherever you are there will always be someone who comes across to chat with you about your car.

This car from 1992 is finished in Royal Ivory with Navy Blue leather interior and Navy Blue weather equipment. This is a 2 owner car. It has covered a mere 25600 miles and comes with a fully comprehensive service history combining stamps in the service book and bills invoices and receipts going right back to registration. Fitted with a Rover 2.0 fuel injected engine this car drives really well, is economical on fuel and has the space to store luggage inside and on the factory luggage rack. Its also fitted with a very expensive Stainless Steel Sports Exhaust with Tubular manifolds, and sounds superb.

It’s a stunning car. Almost unmarked in every way, certainly belying its age at almost 30 years old. So, if you fancy a drive in something that appears from a former era, but something that more than keeps up with modern traffic then this just might be the car for you. At £29995, it certainly gives something to think about.

The MGR V8 was introduced in 1993, as with availability of the MGB Heritage Body shell, the resources were available to create a stunning MG Roadster. Production was limited to around 15 cars per week, and the production run finished in 1995 when a total of 1983 cars had been produced. 1500 of these stunning motor cars went to Japan, and a significant number have subsequently returned back to the UK, and this car is one of these.

Finished in Woodcote Green with Magnolia leather interior, this car is absolutely stunning. The car returned to the UK in 2008 and is currently showing 24000 miles. The paint works simply gleams, the leather is almost unmarked and the woodwork is absolutely gorgeous. The alloy wheels are in remarkably good condition.
More recently the car has with its previous owner, undergone some significant improvements.
Optimax Engine ECU Upgrade
Adjustable Power Steering
High Power LED Lighting system
Frontline Suspension Modification (Panhard Rod Kit, Caster Correction)
Upgraded Ignition
4 New Avon Turbosteel tyres
Motolita Steering Wheel
New Single Box Exhaust System

We’ve had a number of these R V8s over the years, and this one is in a totally different league in the way it drives and handles. The Frontline Performance Suspension and Steering system that have been fitted to this car, totally transform it. I promise you, you won’t drive a nicer one of these anywhere.

If you’re looking for an MGR V8, you won’t want to miss out on this one. The question you need to ask yourself is, why would you buy a standard car at a similar price than this one that has had over £10000 spent on it, and only covered around 300 miles since.
It is an absolutely stunning car and at £28995 could be considered something of a bargain, and wouldn‘t it look great on your drive!

Daimler SP250
Launched by Daimler in 1959 the SP250 was impressively fast, mainly thanks to their new engineer, Edward Turner, who previously worked for Triumph motorcycles. He designed an all new 2.5 litre, hemispheric-combustion chambered, overhead valve - V8 engine, with twin SU carburettors which was influenced by an earlier Triumph motorcycle design. It’s price on launch was £1,395.
The SP250 only weighed 2,220 pounds, so its engine provided very lively. It developed 140 horsepower at 5,800 rpm enough to propel the car from 0 to (60 mph) in a very respectable 9 seconds. this compared favourably to it’s contemporaries of the time, the TR3 (13.2 sec), the Austin Healey Mk1 (11.4 sec) and the MGA (14.6 sec). The top speed for the SP250 was 122 mph.
This particular SP250 (B Spec) was first registered in 1960 and has only had 3 keepers in total. The current owner had the car for 32 years. It is finished in red with Tan Leather interior. With a black mohair hood and comes complete with Tonneau cover. The car is in truly stunning condition. The Service history goes back to 1996.The Engine had a full rebuild in 1999 and the car has covered around 13000 miles since. The gearbox was replaced with a reconditioned unit from David Manners in 2000, and the whole of the wiring loom has been too. It runs now like a Swiss watch it’s so smooth.

If you are looking for a Classic British Sports car, but prefer something a touch more unusual, the Daimler SP250 would fit you’re bill perfectly. Easy to maintain, and with super parts availability, this car will be a dream to own and run, and if you like a car that turns heads with both looks and the sound it makes (it really does sound like a baby AC Cobra), then this is the car for you. Daimler SP250’s have started to rise in price now so go on treat yourself right now before they go stratospheric. At only £29995 this car might be the bargain of the year.
