We think Great Western Air Ambulance Charity’s new critical care cars look great in their VisiFlex V-8000 livery.

And not just that, the reflective livery will help keep these vehicles highly visible as crews respond to emergencies, helping to keep everyone on the road safe while they get to their patients as quickly as possible.

Wishing the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity team many safe journeys in their new critical care cars.

You might have guessed from Friday's clues… 👀 We have three new critical care cars! 🚨

These three new Volvo XC-90s are fully fitted to emergency response standards and will join our existing Volvo XC-90, helping our crew respond to missions across our region.

They replace our three Skoda Kodiaq critical care cars, which have served us well but were nearing the end of their serviceable life.

We'll be sharing more about them and what they mean for our crew and patients over the coming days.

Thank you to the Help Appeal - County Air Ambulance Trust, whose generous support has funded the new cars at no cost to GWAAC. 💚💙

CS 125 - Inspection of Traffic Signs is a National Highways standard setting out the requirements for the inspection and management of permanent traffic signs.

To help those responsible for road sign maintenance stay on top of their CS 125 obligations, we’ve created a guide to the inspection schedule for retroreflectivity testing.

You may have seen our recent post introducing AURA 124 AXE - that’s the ‘what’, and here’s the ‘how’.

The AXE air release liner uses micro-channels to help trapped air escape during application, making it easier to achieve a smooth, bubble-free finish. It can also make repositioning easier during installation and help reduce the risk of material damage and adhesion issues.

Great to see this ambulance care vehicle featuring the iconic Welsh dragon embedded within the reflective livery at The Emergency Fleet Exhibition - NAPFM.

Projects like this demonstrate what's possible when standard reflective markings aren't quite enough. For larger fleet requirements, we can source custom production runs incorporating logos, symbols or other bespoke designs into the reflective material itself.

Whether it's celebrating national identity, reinforcing a brand or creating a truly distinctive fleet appearance, bespoke reflective materials can help your vehicles stand out while maintaining high visibility.

If you're planning a fleet refresh and would like to explore custom reflective solutions, we'd be happy to help.

A huge congratulations to our colleague Mike Silverback Grizzly Allen on another incredible year of fundraising for Children's Hospice South West.

Although an injury meant Mike was unfortunately unable to take part in this year's Ride for Precious Lives, that certainly didn't stop him from supporting the event. After months of fundraising alongside teammate Darryl Galbraith as Team Too Many Bears, Mike spent the weekend volunteering as an additional water stop to help keep riders hydrated during the exceptionally hot conditions.

We're also pleased that our colleagues at Solareye were able to support Mike's volunteering by providing the transport needed to keep the water station running throughout the event.

Together, Mike and Darryl have raised over £10,000 this year through a series of gruelling fundraising turbo events, helping Children’s Hospice South West continue the incredible care and support they provide to babies, children and their families.

If you'd like to support Team Too Many Bears and help them raise even more for this fantastic cause, you can donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/toomanybears2026
