🎃 A Huge Thank You! 🎃

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along to our Halloween Party — it was such a brilliant afternoon! 👻🕸️

It was so lovely seeing everyone having fun, and hearing since how much the kids enjoyed it really means a lot. 💜

A big thank you as well to everyone who helped out, donated, baked, tidied, decorated and generally made the day run so smoothly — we couldn’t have done it without you! 🥰

We've been clearing out the kids club all week and still seem to be finding glitter and Halloween bits everywhere 😅 but it was all so worth it to see those happy faces!

Thank you all again for your support — it really does mean the world! 🧡🖤

Today marks our last official day of breakfast and after-school club before we close at the end of the month. We still have two more weeks of our holiday club to enjoy together, so it’s not quite goodbye yet — just the end of one lovely chapter.

We want to say a huge thank you to all the children, parents, and staff who’ve been part of our journey over the years. You’ve made our club such a special place, full of laughter, care, and memories we’ll always cherish. 💛

Let’s make these last few weeks extra special — and don’t forget about our Halloween Party on the 31st to finish with a bang! 🎃👻 We’d love to see all faces, past and present, there to celebrate with us! Xx

Subject: Important Announcement – Clee Kids Club

Dear Parents and Carers,

It is with very heavy hearts that we share some sad news. After many wonderful years of caring for and supporting so many amazing children and families, Clee Kids Club will be closing its doors for the final time at the end of October half-term, on 31st October 2025.

This decision has not been made lightly. Over the years we have worked hard to keep the club running, but rising costs and changes in government promotion of schools offering their own wraparound care have made it increasingly difficult. On top of this, outstanding fees from both past and present bookings have placed additional strain on us. We now need around £8,000 per month just to cover essentials such as staff wages, rent, food, utilities, insurance, and our booking system — and unfortunately, this has become unsustainable.

I want to personally apologise for not sending this letter out sooner. I have found this an incredibly difficult decision to come to terms with, and I have truly struggled with the thought of saying goodbye to something that means so much to me, our team, and all of the children we care for.

We are incredibly proud of what we have built together — the friendships, the milestones, and the countless happy memories. It has been a privilege to care for your children and to be part of their lives.

To mark our last day together, we will be holding a Halloween Party on Friday 31st October, from 2–4pm at the club. Everyone is welcome — past and present children and parents — and we would love for you to join us for one final celebration filled with fun, games, and laughter.

We kindly ask that any outstanding balances are settled as soon as possible, to allow us to meet our final commitments and begin to pay off our remaining COVID loan. Our bank details are below for anyone needing them:

🌟 Clee Kids Club needs your help! 🌟

As many of you know, it’s been a really tough time for us. The club has faced rising costs, challenges since Covid, and government changes to wrap-around care, all of which have made it increasingly difficult to stay open. Unfortunately, our planned move to St Peter’s won’t be possible as the school aren’t able to accommodate us.

But we’re not giving up just yet 💪 We will continue running at our current setting until October half term, and we are actively looking for alternative accommodation in the Cleethorpes area. If anyone knows of a suitable space that might be available, please get in touch — your help could make all the difference.

We’re also looking into setting up a GoFundMe or other fundraisers to help cover some of the rising costs and give us the best chance of staying open long-term. Every little bit of support means the world.

This Christmas, many children from underprivileged families may wake up without presents. At Clee Club, we're joining Mission Christmas in a special Christmas present drive to ensure every child experiences the joy of the season.

We're really excited to be apart of mission Christmas this year, and would love it if you could all get involved! ❤️

You can drop gifts purchased to any of our staff at St Aidan's community centre, Gimsby road between the hours of 4pm and 6pm, Mon-Fri ☺️

The thought of any child waking up on Christmas morning without a single present is truly heartbreaking, purchasing an extra gift for a child that may not have much, could make all the difference!

Evening everyone,

Apologies it's so late, this weekend has flown by! The children are welcome to come to club in their pjs tomorrow, with it being the first day of the holidays we thought they could have a movie day with lots of Popcorn and fun! Can't wait to welcome you all!

🧙‍♀️ Fancy dress competition - face painting and party games 🧛‍♂️

🍂 Trips to the park 🍁

We are unable to create a set itinerary but we will let you know the days children can dress up etc ☺️
