We love pups, which is why we've made our campervan Jenny, dog-friendly, for every hire.

We want your fur-babies to enjoy the adventures that Jenny provides. Whether that's eating snacks with teenagers, a beach walk, a hike, or a swim.

However, as shown in this image, paw prints can become an issue within a few seconds, and we don't want pups being told off for being pups.

This is why we have made the decision that soft furnishings will not be provided by Misfits Campervan Hire Ltd.

By bringing your own blankets, towels, and bedding it will protect our upholstery area and keep Jenny as hygienic as possible.

Jenny's recently been to the Lake District. Her pitch for the weekend was at Holmescales Campsite, Old Hutton, Kendal, Cumbria, LA8 ONB. Which is located 30 minutes from Lake Windemere.

Holmescales boast the most picturesque views of the Lakeland fells and sits within a peaceful and rural setting. The back-to-basics site is pup-friendly, and you're permitted to take your own fire pit and BBQ - providing they are raised from the ground. All 30 pitches are non-electric and are set on grass.

Facilities on Site:

Toilet block
Basic shower and changing rooms
Washing basins/ pot washing basins
Bins
Drinking water
​Chemical toilet disposal

They also offer quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, 4x4 off road driving, axe throwing, archery, air rifle shooting, cross bow, and raft racing ( these are at an extra cost and booking in advance is recommended).

Jenny is a retired school bus that needed a whole lot of creativity and love to get her to where she is now.

We initially purchased her for our own enjoyment, but with so many people being impressed by her quirky character, we couldn't resist hiring her out.

β—‹ Β£100 Security deposit, payable in cash, refundable after vehicle inspection

Mileage Allowance For Midweek/Weekend Hire:

β—‹ 500 miles per midweek/Weekend hire
β—‹ Additional miles will be charged at Β£0.45p per mile
β—‹ Jenny will be supplied with 1/2 a tank of diesel on hire, the hirer must ensure she is returned with 1/2 a tank, if not, this will be taken from the security deposit.
