Due to the current gorvernment guidelines the bootsale will be closed for the next 4 weeks. We plan to be open again on Thursday 3rd December. In the event guidance changes we will update this page. Take care look after yourselves and most of all stay safe. We will see you all in 4 weeks x

Dear all just a quick update for you.

We have spoken to the council and they have confirmed we are able to open on 7th June as long as we adhere to the government guidelines with regards to social distancing etc. We will therefore set the following in place:

* We will mark the bootsale site with a clear one way system and 2 metre spacing between traders
* We have signs placed around the bootsale site displaying the 2 metre ruling.
* We will NOT open before 7 am and will close by a specified time ( to be confirmed) this means ALL traders will leave by that time there will be no-one staying behind.
* Each car/van will be guided on the site by a member of staff which may result in some traders being in a different area to where they are used to. This will be reviewed ongoingly.
* All customers to please adhere to the 2 metre ruling for their's and the traders safety.

These rules will be continuely reviewed by the management as per governments guidelines.

We look forward to seeing you on the 7th June.

Dear all
As you are aware the Government has indicated that Outdoor Markets/Bootsales can open from 1st June. We have noted the Governments new advice around Boot sales and markets and we are looking at how and when we can safely open. There is a lot of activity locally with other bootsales planning to open next week at this time we are still working on a strategy to open and follow the social distancing guidelines etc. We want to ensure our customers and sellers are safe at all times. We appreciate that everyone is keen to get back to "normal", but safety is our main concern. We will let you all know ASAP when we intend to open. Thank you Jaywick Sunspot Bootsale.
