A few updates from this week. Lots of little service jobs completed but the MGC has now gone back after power steering fitted, a new CSI distributor and new tyres fitted. The Alfa has had all the internal welding done and a coat of Novol anti corrosion primer has been applied prior to the outer panels being welded on. A rust free Alfa, now’s there’s a rarity. Another busy week at CC HQ. The MGC was collected and driven back to Devon after a rebuilt engine and gearbox, full rebuild and upgrades to the front suspension and removal of lots of MGB parts the previous restorer had used in the rebuild. Bryn’s been welding the Alfa and making specialist repair panels so the car looks right whilst I’ve been on a crash repair and bare metal respray on a MGB.

Just a note to say that we will be closed tomorrow as Bryn and I both attend to some family commitments. Reopen 7-30 on Wednesday as normal.

New part reproduced. These are often missing on the MGC clutch hose. Picked up from the powder coaters and packed straight for Stoneleigh so didn’t even get chance to take a picture so “borrowed” this from MGOCs page.
