What we’re looking for:

🔍 A good eye for spotting dents, scratches and bodywork issues

🔧 Enough vehicle knowledge to identify potential problems

🚗 A genuine interest in cars and the used-car market

🛣️ Happy to travel both locally and further afield

🤝 Reliable, professional and a great team player
Motor trade experience is preferred, but not essential. Full 5-star training will be provided to the right candidates.

🚛 THE END OF AN ERA — BIG JOHN’S LAST DAY! 🚛

Today we celebrate the final day of Big John in the Chequers Logistics team, after an unbelievable 9 years of graft, miles, weather, traffic jams and probably enough service station coffees to sink a battleship! 😂

In his time with us, John has racked up a staggering nearly 500,000 miles — that’s roughly 20 trips around the globe! 🌍

He’s driven through just about everything Mother Nature could throw at him: heatwaves ☀️, storms 🌧️, biblical rain, freezing temperatures and even getting snowed in up in Scotland! ❄️
And despite all those miles, all those roads and all those questionable motorway drivers…

NOT ONE BANG. NOT ONE SCRAPE. NOT EVEN A SLIGHTLY WORRIED WING MIRROR! 😂👏

That’s some going!

Now, there is one major concern with John retiring…
If you own shares in Greggs, we strongly advise you check your portfolio immediately. 📉🥧
Because the nation’s service stations are about to lose one of their most loyal customers. John has probably kept half of them in business over the last 9 years! 😂

After nearly half a million miles, John is finally hanging up his driving boots and heading off for a very well-deserved rest.

And most importantly…

NO MORE GREGGS! …well, we’ll see about that. 😂

Meet Simon – a proud member of our Sales Support Team! 👏
You might remember Simon from a previous post when his beloved Vauxhall Meriva was sadly taken away to the scrap yard in the sky. 🚗☁️

These days, Simon has a new passion in life... making sure our Fiat 500 and Ford Fiesta line-up is as straight as an arrow. The second one gets moved, he's off like a shot to put everything back in perfect formation, ready for our customers.

Today he was so proud of his handiwork that he insisted on posing for a photo with his masterpiece... only for everyone else to notice the line was actually as wonky as ever, with cars all over the place! 😂

Still, a happy Simon is a happy dealership. As a reward for all his "hard work", he was treated to a well-earned ice lolly and a cup of tea while he proudly showed off his line to anyone who came through the door... whether they wanted to see it or not! 😆🚗
