WE’RE HIRING FOR THE 2027 SEASON

Fancy spending the summer working outdoors?

We’re looking for a friendly, practical and reliable Campsite Warden to join us for our 2027 season, from April through to the start of October.

It’s a varied, hands-on role involving:

- Welcoming and chatting with guests
- Keeping our facilities clean and tidy
- Helping with bookings and arrivals
- General campsite maintenance and groundskeeping
- Sorting the odd practical job when it crops up

A typical day is split between reception and cleaning in the morning, followed by some downtime during the middle of the day, then guest arrivals, maintenance and being around the campsite in the afternoon/early evening.

Hours vary throughout the season, from around 20 hours a week during quieter periods to 40+ hours during peak times.

📅 April – early October 2027
💷 £13.50 per hour
🏕️ Live-in position – grass pitch, electric hook-up and internet provided
🗓️ Five days on, two days off – typically Tuesday & Wednesday
☀️ A few hours to yourself during the middle of most days
👫 Suitable for a couple sharing the role or a single person

Weekends, bank holidays and school holidays are our busiest times, so you’ll need to be happy working when the campsite is at its liveliest.

Previous campsite experience isn’t essential. We’re much more interested in finding someone friendly, reliable, practical and happy to get stuck in.

Sound like your kind of summer?

Drop us an email at [email protected] and tell us a little bit about yourself, any relevant experience you have and why you fancy joining us for the 2027 season.

And just like that, the madness of the summer holidays is over!

We’ve had a fantastic few months at Piccadilly, filled with families and friends enjoying time together, making memories and having fun.

But now September is here, things take on a slightly different pace. We’re still busy – just a different kind of busy! Those who hunkered down during the school holidays are starting to show their faces again, ready to enjoy a quieter countryside escape. We even have green grass appearing again, after the scorching heat of the Summer months.

These Autumn months are a lovely time to stay at Piccadilly. Make the most of the decent weather, cosy evenings and fresh countryside air before winter rolls in.

Fancy an autumn escape?

Book your stay at Piccadilly and enjoy the countryside at a slightly slower pace.

🔥 Important BBQ Update 🔥

Due to the continued dry weather and the condition of the grass across the campsite, we have made the decision to ban all charcoal and disposable BBQs on site with immediate effect due to the increased fire risk.

Camping stoves will still be permitted, provided they are used safely and responsibly.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we do our best to protect our campsite and keep everyone safe. Thank you for helping us look after Piccadilly Caravan Park.

Our planters around the facilities block, which we installed and planted up this spring, are looking absolutely stunning at the moment.

It's been lovely watching them fill out with colour over the past few months, and they really brighten up the heart of the campsite. We hope our guests enjoy them as much as we do.

Do you have a favourite flower in the display?

During this heatwave, our complimentary camper's fridge and freezer are proving more popular than ever!

Whether it's keeping your milk cold for that morning cuppa, chilling a bottle of wine, or making sure the ice creams stay frozen until the perfect moment, it's one of those little extras that can make a big difference to your stay.

With temperatures soaring, what's the first thing you'd put in the fridge when you arrive?
