📍Claonaig sits on the east coast of the Kintyre peninsula in western Scotland. You reach it by driving the A83 from Tarbert or Campbeltown, then turning onto the minor B8001 road down to the shore. It’s a small hamlet with a slipway for the seasonal Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to Lochranza on the Isle of Arran in summer.
