A massive congratulations to our very good customers & friends Nigel and John, who have rounded out the season with an outright win at Castle Combe. And on top of that, with a 33 second lead, and fastest lap 😎 What a way to round off 50 years of racing for John!

Its the morning after, and what an experience - going into the night race we knew we’d be off the pace, having to fit a gearbox from a 1.4tdi audi A2 🤣 but made the most of it and the conditions, to finish the race, win our class and come away with a new class lap record in the process 😎

Jon Gill did a great job of getting to grips with wrong wheel drive, and a with a weekend of what could have beens, we’ve both had a great time - racing in dark, and the rain is something we both wont forget in a hurry!

Many thanks to Classic Sports Car Club and Knockhill Racing Circuit for putting on such a great event, and thanks to Keeley Lloyd, Trackday Solutions Ltd Donald Dewar and Mike seabourne for all the help over the weekend!

After a quick quali session tomorrow morning, our first race starts at just after 2pm.

Then its onto night quali at just before 8pm, before the night endurance race starting at 21.20 😎

Its the run up to the last race weekend of the season, and this one is quite different! For the first time ever Knockhill is hosting a night race for Classic Sports Car Club, and being a pitstop endurance race, we’re teaming up with Jon Gill from Team Greedy Racing to share the driving duties 😎

A race in the daylight saturday morning to get our bearings around the circuit, before the main race at gone 9pm, in a vastly varied grid - which will keep us busy well into the night.

The first time in a long time either of us have raced on semi slick tyres, and the famously hot and sunny scottish weather (🤣) will keep us on our toes!

Hoping the end the year off on a high and bring some more silverware back home!

Whilst this weekend didnt go exactly to plan - losing the engine in qualifying meant our race was done before it even started

Our customers however have had a fantastic weekend!!! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

MikeMk200 in the MK Cup200 managed P2 in qualifying, P2 in race 1, and P1 in race 2 😎

John Hammersley and Nigel in the Scirocco stormed home with Pole in qualifying, P2 overall in the race with a class win and fastest lap!! 😎

Awesome effort!!!

Now for the engine strip down to see about making the Knockhill night race in 3 weeks!!

What a weekend!

From getting absolutely snookering ourselves in qualifying, starting 26th in the pouring rain, and fighting through to a 3rd & 1st in class and 4th overall on the road (bumped back down to 5th after red flag count back)

Quite a sub optimal qualifying 🤦‍♂️ weather watching, it looked like we could get out at get some fast laps in on slicks...

Quite a sub optimal qualifying 🤦‍♂️ weather watching, it looked like we could get out at get some fast laps in on slicks before the forecast rain arrived…..but a hold in assembly meant the rain came hard and heavy before getting out. Tippy toeing round in a lake on slicks, got back to the pits for Jon Gill Team Greedy Racing to do a F1 style pitstop for full wets…..but as the air jacks dropped, the session was red flagged and never restarted 🤦‍♂️ so with zero complete laps its a start from dead last tomorrow 🤣 But atleast we’ll have fun coming through!
