This Tesla Model S drive unit is becoming a rare beast.

We stripped this one down and found a single failed phase on the circuit board. Instead of just sourcing a completely new unit, we’re now repairing at the modular level.

Myself and my techs have stood at public charge points with an oscilloscope, back-probing a car to chase a charging fault before we upgraded to an in-house DC charger.
