🎉🎉🎉Congratulations to Ellie, passed on her 2nd attempt in Chelmsford today, A confident drive see her through this time with only 5 driver faults, even though last time she had 3DF 👏 💪

Not only has Ellie gained her full drivers licence, she has gained confidence to drive anywhere she likes, knowing she will a safe good driver.

Seen someone offering to sell driving tests? 👀

You can report it to us using our new online form. ✅

Since 12 May, it has been against the law for anyone but the learner driver to book a driving test. Reselling tests, using unofficial apps, bots or automated tools also breaks the terms and conditions of our booking service.

If you've spotted someone breaking these rules, you can now report it on GOV.UK.

You can share website addresses, social media links or screenshots as evidence.

Reports can be made anonymously and our enforcement team will investigate and take appropriate action.

Booking your driving test? Make sure you’re doing it the right way. ✅

Since 12 May, it has been against the law for anyone but the learner driver to book a driving test. Using unofficial apps, bots or automated tools also breaks the terms and conditions of our booking service.

We've already cancelled 450 tests where tests have been booked outside the new rules – and we're continuing to monitor activity closely. 💪

If misuse of the booking system is identified, we can cancel your booking and suspend your ability to manage your test online.

Our priority is to make the system fair for every learner and to stop you being exploited by third parties. The only way to book and manage a test is through GOV.UK. 💻

Learning to drive has definitely been a journey for me, but with Chris's support, patience, and guidance, I got there in the end. His attentive, informative, and calm teaching style made a real difference to my confidence and ability behind the wheel.

Do you know what to look for when choosing a driving instructor?

🚗 Approved driving instructors (ADIs) and trainee driving instructors must display a certificate in the windscreen of their vehicle when they are providing paid instruction.

They display:
🟢 a green certificate if they’re a fully qualified driving instructor
🩷 a pink certificate if they’re a trainee and are going through the qualification process
