Time to meet the small family run business behind Global Lights
Me (Oliver gray aka tea boy or spanner monkey)
I am the owner of Global lights about 4 years ago i brought Global Lights from Graham Hathaway with the intention of bringing these cars back to circuits across the UK and making them as affordable to buy and maintain as possible.
Its been a long hard road and we still have along way to go but we are getting there. We now have cars available to hire and a grid for them to race
Dan carpenter ( master engineer and CAD guru)
Since I took on Global lights Dan has helped us more time than I care to remember. Which i owe him big time for. Since we work together alot and he knows his stuff when it comes to engineering cars as he owns his own car manufacturing company DJC Sportscars it really made sense to bring him onboard as a business partner.
Daniel ( Social media, Photographer, Web design and Race car technician)
Daniel is my eldest son 14. A very capable person whether it's Social media ,working on the cars or helping at the race track. Never afraid to get stuck in and help maintain and work on the cars. He is a very keen rugby player and when he is not helping with Global Lights he is on the rugby pitch.
Harry ( Race car /Tyre technician )
Harry my youngest son 12. There's not much he cant do. Gets stuck in with the spanners and knows his way around the cars. Always very keen to help us on trackdays and the shows we go to. Would rather be working on the cars than going to school. Harry is also a very keen rugby player and spends alot of time on a rugby pitch training or playing
I am very proud of Daniel and Harry and how hard they work both for Global Lights but also on the rugby pitch.
Without any of them Global Lights would not be what it is today. So with the two boys and Mr Carpenter Global lights future looks safe and we will continue to work hard to bring the cars back and keep them back on the grids across the uk
If you see us around the paddock come and say hi and as much as we take the cars seriously we love to be mischievous at times as we all love to have a laugh and a joke
